Easy 5 stars. A major step up than the last sushi joint that used to occupy this space.
If you're coming here, it's because you're going to do the all you can eat option. It's pretty standard here where you see everywhere else that offers AYCE; 3 rounds, plenty of options, and a list of limited specialties.
The restaurant provides a house night appetizer. Ours was salmon on a chip and some kind of shrimp tempura that is an option on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised with this because you don't experience that at a lot of AYCE spots.
What I really want to rave about was the quality of the fish. The fish is fresh FRESH. I hope they keep this permanently because what I have experienced is a new restaurant will provide a better quality fish in the early days of the restaurant, build their clientele, then switch to a lower quality fish down the road.
The fish is extremely fresh. The salmon was buttery smooth. The tuna wasn't tin-y tasting like it came from a metal can. The fish on its own was amazing. Then the rolls have their flavors very well balanced so that it doesn't overshadow the actual sushi. It compliments it very well.
This is the best sushi spot you'll find in Fullerton. Hats off the to staff that tend to all the tables in timely manners without being...
Read moreI have been passing by this place since they first built it and I was always hesitant of going in since I’ve never eaten here. We finally bit the bullet and went in. The service was absolutely impeccable and the staff was amazing. Super chill vibe they do have limited seating but the food comes out in a timely fashion.
We opted for the all you can eat deal which was alright for the price. You get 3 rounds of sushi and you can select quite a few rolls. Our party of 2 got 2-3 rolls each every round. They do offer alcoholic beverages in case you were wondering and the menu has pictures and a small description for each roll so you know exactly what you’re getting and what it’ll look like. Also when you fill out the order sheet you just kindly call or hand it over to the staff. Also there was a 80 or 90 minute time limit.
Overall amazing experience and great place to eat. I know it doesn’t have that many reviews but it’s definitely worth checking out. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreThis review is about the services... not the Sushi. I never had a chance to try the Sushi... but I went there last night with my wife and two daughters to celebrate my wife's birthday. Upon seating we were told that ALL of us had to either do the AYCE or à la carte. They would NOT let my daughter, who doesn't like Sushi order off the menu while the rest of us did AYCE. We pleaded with the person seating us, explaining that she is old enough to understand that she can't share any of our food, which she wouldn't anyway because she doesn't eat Sushi, but the lady was rude and told us there are other nearby Sushi places we can go if we don't like their policy..... SO WE LEFT. We ended up having a great meal at Sushi Bomb on Harbor and Commonwealth. Great Sushi and Great Service. I will never step foot in Sushi by Jin again... don't care how good their Sushi is. I am not pleased at all at how they treated me...
