Target — Local services in Fultondale

I typically have really positive shopping experiences at this location, as well as at Target online. However I recently had an issue with a gift card I was issued for meeting an eligible promotion. It was spend $40 on health and beauty and get a $10 target gift card. I watched the cashier get the card out and scan it to load the $10 on. However when I tried to use it a week or so later online, it didn’t work. I again tried to use it a few days later in the store. It still didn’t work. I approached the customer service counter to get help with the issue, and was treated very poorly. They stated it was not showing the gift card ever activated on my original receipt, to which I responded, I know, and that is why I need to be issued the gift card I made the eligible purchase to get. I was not being unreasonable, I was only asking for the $10 gift card I was owed to replace the empty one I was issued. They then said I would have to take it up with Target at their 800 number. I am an educated woman with a master’s degree. A $10 gift card isn’t going to make or break me, but at this point, it was the principal of the matter. I refuse to be treated like I was trying to be one of those people who work the system for something they are not owed. Also, if you do not like your job, go find another one. Rude people and people who are uneducated in customer service etiquette have no business in that line of work. Fast forward and I was on the phone with them for over 40 minutes and spoke to 4 different people before they finally admitted fault and because I was such a “valued customer” they provided the gift card I was entitled to....

Gotta love Target. Right! I always love looking through their dollar or cheaper items that are close to the doors and I enjoyed looking through all the Easter items and such. To me, they always have such good cool stuff and usually of good quality too. My reasoning for my trip to target this time was to look for a maternity dress or just one that would fit me for my baby shower. They had literally nothing in the maternity section and it was actually filled with like all kinda baby clothes and accessories. I managed to find just a few dresses, but since I am so short when I went to try them on and since they weren't maternity none of them fit so I had no luck there at all and we ended up leaving empty handed & not...

My experience today was horrible! I went in to buy a few things I needed that was priced different on shelf and rang up 10$ more. They wouldn't honor the price listed when it was a full shelf, even after I asked for a manager. When the manager (Traycie) came to the register she was extremely rude to the cashier, and said to her "Its 10$ you didn't need to call me up here for that, you couldn't do it yourself?"
