I'm not at all pleased with the lady who works in the Fuquay-Varina store. I went today and found a couple of items, tried them on, and then went to make a purchase. All of the dresses were on sale for $5. When the lady rang up my purchase, it was $15.21. I purchased a blouse that was $6, and the dress that I thought was $5. When I questioned her about the amount, she looked at me and said that the dresses were $8, not $5. I said your signs (which were on 5 dress racks ) say that they are now $5. She swiftly walks away from the counter and began to remove the signs, saying that was her weekend sale and they are nolonger $5 they are $8. As she was doing this, another customer said, "Oh no, don't take them down now as she h as some she was going to purchase. When the lady who worked there went back behind the counter she said so are you still going to buy the dress? I told her that for $5, I would buy it. She said "no I am not going to sell it for $5". I told her that I had decided that I nolonger wanted my things since she wouldn't honor her signs and that I would no longer shop in her store. The problem was the cost I would have paid $8 it was the point of the way she handled the situation rudely and as if she didn't care if she made a...
Read moreSmall store with limited selection of used women's clothing and accessories. Although I prefer to shop local, I won't be returning here. The ladies that work here have rude attitudes and have been extremely unfriendly to me and my daughter on each occasion that we have gone there. Each time it was a different person behind the counter and unfortunately I don't know their respective names. Hopefully they treat the other customers better. I am sure they do, because on our last visit, the lady working there was chatting with other customers, when we went in. No greeting for us... When we left, we wished her a good day and was barely acknowledged with an "uh-huh". What is that??? I will not support a business that employs rude and arrogant women. I will pass over "Pass It On"...
Read moreWent in this afternoon (2/22) not only to look around, but was going to talk with someone about donating a large amount of good apparel (Eileen Fisher, St. John) from my work wardrobe that I no longer wear since I've retired. Walked in the shop to see lady at the desk was on the phone. I looked right at her & smiled; she looked away. She did not say one word to me once she was off the phone, did not acknowledge my presence at all (even when I passed right in front of her while she was hanging up clothing at the desk). That was enough for me to change my mind about donating to this place. She did mumble something as I went out the door, but I didn't even bother to turn around. Never will I go back...
