pOpshelf — Local services in Fuquay-Varina

I don’t ever do reviews but once I saw this happen I knew I needed to put it on here. So I’ve been to another location like the one in Garner and Apex and even on my first time I didn’t know right away it was self check out till I got up to the register. I didn’t complain the first time, I scanned my stuff and I left. Self check out isn’t that big of a deal. Well, I went to the Fuquay location for the first time today and I give it a 100/10. The employees that work there were extremely nice. The store was very well-kept clean and organized. I go to check out and two older ladies are beside me and start yelling that it’s self check out. The employee offers to help them check out. And the women say “I’m not gonna do your job for you”, then leaves a full cart load of stuff for the workers to put back. Now I get a lot of people don’t like self check out, but this isn’t the only location, I believe all pOpshelf does self check out only. So to leave a cart full of stuff for them to put back is a pain considering pOpshelf doesn’t have a lot of people working at one time due to the self check out feature. I’m in my 20s and I have more respect where if it was such a big deal for me to have to scan my own stuff I would have just put all the items back and not leave it in just sitting there because it’s “too much work for me”. And they have gift bags for $1! Even moderately sized ones! They're usually $4-5 at Walgreens!

This is a great store! Kind of a combination between dollar store and the home store. There are decor items, pillows and towels, kids toys, candy decorating and sprinkles, snacks and food and lots more. The story is very clean and well-organized!
