Simple trip to the Bo = customer service fail. I'm waiting in line to order behind another couple who was already placing their order with "Claudia" at the register. (Claudia was the name on my receipt, the lady at the register wasn't wearing a name tag) While I waited another lady entered at the side of the line and stood in front of me. Initially, I assumed she was dropping off merchandise for an employee because she had an extraordinary amount of Michael Kors handbags wrapped in plastic. I have to admit I was confused because I worked at Neiman Marcus and this lady didn't strike me as an authorized Michael Kors dealer. Might have been her house shoes or her black silk bonnet covering her hair rollers, doesnt really matter. After she dropped off the MK bags to a bunch of employees behind the counter she placed a rather large carry out order with "Claudia" right in front of me as if I wasn't or had not been standing there for quite some time. I was gobsmacked. I shook off the amazement at the brazen disrespect and recognized my issue wasn't with the MK bag booster but with "Claudia" & why she would take someone else's order before me when she knew I had been waiting in line. If you happen to risk a visit during the day beware of the older lady wearing a dark brownish blond wig with a bitter disposition. When it was finally my turn, "Claudia" dryly said 'You ready to order?" I've no idea what I did to this lady to warrant all the attitude. My reply, "As a matter of fact I am after waiting so long. Is there a reason why.....?" Before I could finish my sentence "Claudia" backs up, looks to her right and says "Amber, can you come deal with this, I'm not dealing with this today." Thank God for Asst. Mgr Amber! She was very polite and professional, and you could tell she's at her wits end because the children are running the daycare. Amber stated she didn't see what happened but she apologized, gave me a 10% discount & a coupon. Thank God some people actually made it to customer service training. Unfortunately, "Claudia's" antics didn't stop there. When I got to the end of the line, "Claudia" attempted to hand me a bag of cold fries when Amber had already assured me she would prepare a fresh batch. I simply said to "Claudia" , "No thank you, Amber is helping me with my order." She dropped the bag and exclaimed as she was walking away intent on causing a scene "Whatever! The devil is staying busy today!" This behavior is unnecessary, unprovoked, & beneath Bojangles' standards. While Amber may not have seen what happened, the cameras did and even without sound I'm sure it is clear what happened was out of line. I'm glad Amber was there, & this Bojangles' gets one star because of her, but I felt bad that this is the team member supporting her. Fortunately, I was able to reach out to corporate & they agreed Amber may need some help managing those negative personalities. Maybe "Claudia" was having a bad day, I could see how it might be bothersome to be at work while other people are just passing through, traveling & enjoying life. But a good round of customer service training and people skills could really help "Claudia" learn how to turn her bitterness into a successful career. As far as the food, it was hot and prepared by the delightful Amber so I felt comfortable eating after that unpleasant display. If you are in Gaffney, I recommend the Bojangles' drive thru, at least there no one can bogart their way in front of you soliciting with questionable...

Bojangles has always been a household name in my family throughout the years & have enjoyed the memories from early childhood. A few years ago I moved to a city that does NOT have a Bojangles so when I am near one it is always a must to stop by.
Tonight I ordered a 2pc meal with 2 fixin's (fries&dirty rice) I received the food & realized the fries were overcooked and did not have that good seasoning on them that I missed. I told DESI about the fries, she told manager CYNTHIA who proceeds to yell out the window "These fries just came out!" - window closed
I waved DESI down to state that my complaint wasn't about the fries being fresh or not it was about how they were cooked. I couldn't even finish talking before DESI slammed the price thru window & ran to CYNTHIA to laugh at what I was starting to say. - window closed
I waved down someone else, her name was DALLAS & she was nice and patient. I explained my complaint to her in which she understood yet DESI was still laughing and being rude! - window closed
Lastly, I waved down CYNTHIA & explained that coming to Bojangles is an experience for me and it was completely ruined from the disrespect from her & DESI! CYNTHIA apologized and began to tell me that DESI is the bosses daughter. How sad!!!
DESI was so rude & entitled as though she did not care about the job because of her relation to the boss!
Experiences can mean something so little to others but so much to someone else. I hope this review is taken seriously & the employees understand how precious life is. You never know what people are going...
Read moreSo I’m going to start with I love Bojangles, I’ve eaten it my entire life. I have never had a bad experience, foods always delicious consist. It’s a comfort food for me! Now this particular one I have had nothing but issues, I’ve lived in the area for about a year now and on several occasions I’ve eaten in and take out. My order is wrong every-time I’m either missing stuff or something is wrong all together or isn’t cooked all the way. I have spoke to a few different people there nothings been done. Everyone I talk to that works a cash register very pleasant and nice but still nothing. So tonight I’m saying something I got there about 15-20 before close which I get is annoying I work in a restaurant as well but you still serve the customer with a smile (lady at the window did) and don’t say “that’s what you get when you come right before close” when the window is still open if you’re gonna talk shit wait till the customer can’t hear you. Okay then I get home eat my bacon egg and cheese biscuit and half way through it I just get straight dough I just throw it away. With that said I’ll give it some time and I’ll be back hope y’all fix your issues that you’ve had for a long time now if not the next time will be my last time going to this...
