The workers of this particular Subway restaurant have horrible manners, are rude to customers and each other in front of customers! Things weren't always like this, but about a year ago, things took a turn for the worst.
I came into the shop one evening after work and walked straight into an argument between two of the employees. I figured that the day had been stressful, so I shrugged and went ahead and ordered my food.
On a different day, my family and I were in the mood to have subs, so I volunteered to go and order our usual sub combinations for dinner. The employee that took my order was anything but cheery that day. He kept a straight robotic face and mumbled everything. Whenever I asked politely for him to repeat something, he would give me a slight dirty look to both me and my younger brother and then repeat whatever he said previously, only slightly louder...to be honest, I felt really, really uncomfortable that day.
Yesterday the third and final straw. Again, I was in the mood for subs and was curious to see if Subway had an online ordering option, and it did. I selected this particular Subway since it's so closely located to my home to pick up my order. My younger brother volunteered to pick up the subs and went to do so. Almost 10 minutes later, my brother calls my phone, and informs me that this Subway isn't set up have the online option...I'll admit, I was pretty annoyed at the fact that my card had been charged for the order and the staff was telling my brother our wasn't there.
My brother put on the phone, speaker phone with one of the staff. The woman who answered the phone held a pretty rude tone with me, and practically yelled in the phone whenever I asked something. In the end, she tells us that our order has been forward to the other Subway in town on Hyatt St...this made no sense to me, as this Subway's location was included on the site, and I did not, I repeat, DID NOT receive any text or e-mail informing me that my order was received by another restaurant.
All in all, I will not be visiting this Subway for quite some time due to rude the staff and misleading online ordering. It may be a tad further, but I think I'll spend the extra gas to visit the one on Hyatt street for a more pleasant...
Read more2/1/24; I got a bad experience today from this location at lunch time this morning. . All I came in for was to pick up my order, but yet received one of the most nastiest attitude from one of the team members. (Possibly Hispanic girl) She wasn’t friendly at all and got smart with me, when all I wanted to know was when my order was ready. That’s it, wasn’t rushing anyone or anything, just a harmless question.. So there was no reason for the level of attitude I received. It was rather pathetic more than anything. I was nice to you, and you should have treated me with respect as I did to you. But no, you wanted to be nasty towards me. She was working on my order but quickly sent my order to be finished by the other employee (whom was much more nicer than she was). In other words, I guess to avoid me, I don’t know what her problem was, if it would have been one of my off days, she would have heard my thoughts and I could of been nasty back to you 10x worse than you were to me. If you can’t be kind and courteous to people why work in the fast food industry.? You see a lot of people everyday and have to interact with people, so why be rude to someone.? I even left your rude behind a tip and this is what I pay for?. If I happen to see you again, just know I remember you and won’t forget the experience you left me...
Read moreI just got two club subs from here. I assumed that they would go skimpy on the meats because I used a BOGO coupon. Not So ! The two sandwiches were more than adequately filled with roast beef, turkey, and ham! I really enjoyed being able to observe them making my subs to order! Most of my favorite sub places do not allow this ! The two young ladies that tended to me were polite, efficient, and really wanted to do a great job !
