BC Boba Tea & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Gainesville

I took my daughter and nephew here for lunch. We got our standard boba order- lychee green tea, taro milk tea, and hazelnut iced coffee. All three were delicious. BC Boba's lychee green tea is superior in all ways to every other boba place in town, and I'll come back just for this drink. We also each ordered pork "banh mi Saigon". My family are all Vietnamese food enthusiasts and have eaten banh mi all over the country, including Dong Phuong Oriental Bakery in New Orleans and the Asian Garden Mall in Anaheim, so I have a pretty high bar. The menu said it included pate, so I was pretty excited for a quality banh mi Saigon. Unfortunately, none of our banh mi included pate, mayonnaise or sliced chilis, only one had sriracha, and the only meat was cha lua. Now, I don't know if they serve a different product to Vietnamese customers and they gave use a simpler version because we are white (don't flinch, it happens). I have been to almost every Boba shop in town and I am confident this place is top 3. The more popular picks are towards Archer deeper in town but this is closer to main street and much easier access due to less traffic! The customer service is great and the prices are reasonable compared to tea shops. Lovely place decorated with tapestries and calm wooden furniture along with cool ac. Perfect place to go on a date and have a deep talk, study, maybe plan a trip or just relax. I knew of this place but on my debut visit to try it I actually lost my keys and thought I locked them in my car. aside from being within short walking distance of Gainesville High School, the atmosphere in this shop is so lovely and great for working. the staff is always kind and friendly, and the menu never disappoints! every option on the menu is wonderful and very enjoyable. a great option for a student like myself to do work while enjoying a great drink! i personally recommend the taro milk tea- it’s a great sweet drink!! the prices are also good for the quality of the drinks and service. the low prices and wonderful drinks and service, and a lovely atmosphere make this shop one of...
