Had items missing from our dinner order ($100 in food and alcohol), had to ask for a water refill 3 times before we actually got it (for one person). Would have only left 10% rather than the usual 15% to 20%, 25% to 30% with alcoholic beverages as I am in the bar industry (14 year bartending veteran here) because she does/did have to tip out the bar staff. We had Watermelon Margaritas... not worth the $8. Food was decent but they couldn't provide my vegetarian father with any salad dressing for his salad (not even any oil and vinegar). My last two visits to Chili's has been fairly disappointing and I don't think I will be revisiting any of their locations. They need to step up their game and train their employees better. Their menu is lacking in choices - especially for the true vegetarian like my father. Very disappointing. They need to add more items with the stuff they keep on hand and maybe add some better signature cocktails. Especially if they are charging $8 for premium/extra premium alcohol. I work in a fairly high end neighborhood bar... our super premium alcohols don't run more than $8. We only upcharge a small amount for some additives such as Red Bull, Grand Marnier/Cointreau. These margaritas consist of tequila, watermelon puree (very weak) and two very small cubes of watermelon. The food is consistently good, their TVs are always tuned into whatever local sports teams are playing, and best of all, their service is absolutely top notch. In a world where friendly people, smiling faces, and customer service are a fond, distant memory of days passed, the employees here are a pleasant reminder that it IS still possible to have a good experience somewhere.
That said, my most recent trip to Chilis was so amazing, I felt compelled to give a much-deserved public shoutout to our waitress, Justice. She was the single kindest and most attentive waitress I’ve had anywhere in the past decade. She beamed with sincerity.
