Seriously disappointed with the food quality. My daughter didn't even get a bun for her hot dog which is a step up from the dried out crap they gave my wife and I for burger buns. As we ate them they literally crumbled to pieces. The worst part of that was that they sold them to us knowing they were crap. I know this because the manager delivered our food out personally and apologised about the quality of the buns. Next I'll tell you about my daughter's now bunless chilli dog that we only discovered would be bunless after waiting no less than ten minutes for our food to come out (food isn't out at this point either). The chili was the burnt scraping at the bottom of the pan. And finally, the fries tasted as though they were there waiting for us at least a half an hour before we got there (without the heat lamp) and it took at least 15 minutes to get there. My wife thought it was to be expected since we came in at nine until she realized they didn't close until ten. Seriously, I wouldn't give them the 1 star review of it weren't required.
Well, the manager was really nice when he said sorry but that doesn't change the fact that I just spent $20 on garbage.
Edit So my daughter feel down and hurt her arm on the way out the door after I wrote this review. This is important mainly because the only wet floor sign set up was hidden on the other side of the store where it couldn't be seen from where we came from or out the door. I would have thought the one of the two or three employees watching would have checked to see if she was ok or the manager would have walked outside to check on her once she found out what happened. I guess she felt it might be unsafe to go outside with my 12 year old daughter there. Read moreI'm not sure what was going on with this shift, because we normally have a good experiance. But this recent visit on September 5th at 6:30pm was crud. I had ordered a chili cheese dog combo with onion rings, a plain cheeseburger kids meal with chocolate milk, and a flamethrower combo, extra sauce on the side. Normally they give us a small cup of sauce and charge us the 25 cent extra sauce price. Which is acceptable and gives us the ammount we want. But today almost our entire order was messed up. The flamethrower had less sauce than normal, and the extra on the side was like a tablespoon worth. Barely made it a normal portion of sauce. The chili on the hotdog was practically missing. The onion rings were cold. (how does that even happen?) The plain cheeseburger was not plain, even though the cashier double checked with me that it was plain it was not rung up that way. -The kidsmeal wasnt even a kidsmeal. They rang it up as a burger and a chocolate milk. To make it right they offered me a kidsmeal icecream token. I had to walk back in for the fries. Meanwhile the fries in the flamethrower combo were the size of a kidsmeal fry. Did I mention the kids cheeseburger was not plain? My 4 year old refused to eat it and I wasted money. Read moreAs I was reading several of the negative reviews, I began to wonder if some of the Reviewers weren't out just to "trash" talk to receive their money back. Yes there are people out there who do that. I have eaten at this local DQ several times either a quick pick up, with my family, or with a bigger group. Each visit has been dealt with by a quick. efficient and customer friendly staff. The food quality has always been above standard for "fast" food. The fries and chicken have always been hot. The burgers right off the grill. This happens each visit not just one time. Even during their busiest time the staff are always courteous and apologetic for the delay. I'm fine with waiting 10 to 15 minutes for hot food. Heck it takes longer than that to prep your food at home for cook. I'm not saying people don't have a right to their opinion but instead of being so demeaning in their review or the way you represent your concerns at the establishment maybe next time you should try to lead by example. Give them suggestions (in a calmly manner) on how to improve an area where you see needs improving. Don't eat the food then complain harshly as you leave or when you get near an electronic device.
