Dont. Just dont. If you have an abiding taste for oriental food, and no i did NOT say chinese food just go elsewhere. The few times i was there as someone's guest everything was sweet too sweet. Even the meat type steam table stuff was sugary. Speaking of meat, it was cooked way too hard to enjoy. The sauces were an insult unto the point that i felt a need to complain. I didn't. Look sometimes i know an cooking style has to be throttled down for American tastes, but if i go to an oriental place for dinner i dont expect pot roast or corn bread. One doesn't hire an oriental gymnastics team and expect them to do the Lindy Hop. Bring on the spiceness, the complex flavours, the "differentness" that one expects. This has been my favorite place to go since they opened at this location. The food was great and the eggrolls had amazing flavor compared to places around the area, but earlier these passed months i noticed that the food tasted different. The seseme chicken was wayy too sweet and did not have the flavor of chicken like it used to. The eggrolls tasted plain without any flavor at all. I also noticed that they maybe raised the price also. Today is maybe the last day i go there since either they changed the cook or the recipe. Yuck! First of all, this place does not make your food fresh. They premake everything and scoop it from a buffet up front. I got Chicken Broccoli and Pepper Steak. The Chicken Broccoli was like general tsos chicken with broccoli. The chicken was coated with a sweet red sauce. Chicken broccoli should be stir fried chicken with broccoli covered in a brown sauce. The pepper steak was inedible and I had to pay $2 more for it since it is beef on top of that. The meat was as dry as beef jerky and clearly it was cooked long before it was served to me.
