Waffle House — Restaurant in Gainesville

Well the waitress wasn't very nice, and I almost sat down in spilled milk that the waitress didn't bother to clean up from the last ppl that sat in that booth last, and she didn't check on us one time to see if we needed more to drink so we did without. The food was fine just lacked attentive service from waitress. And THEN to top it off, on Christmas we was staying at Motel 6 and was hungry having not had anything to eat on Christmas and my husband walked over there to get us something, saw ppl inside, yet got a hand motion from a blond headed short lady very rudely telling him they were closed. This was one important factor of us staying at Motel 6 having a 24hr place to eat since we had no place to cook. This was so very disappointing going to bed hungry on Christmas. I wouldn't give this place 1 ⭐ but had I not I wouldn't have been able to reveiw.. I have traveled alot and from Colorado to here this here is the worst waffle house I've ever...

We were craving Waffle House and you guessed it, we met our cravings. If you’re looking for a nostalgic and some southern with a twist diner vibes, if you know what I mean lol. We ordered the all star breakfast, which comes with your choice of grits or hash browns, choice of meat, and waffle. And we order the two eggs and meat breakfast which comes with hash browns, and your choice of meat. It also comes cheese, but we subbed onions and mushrooms. Service was pretty good, our server was fast, and joked here and there. Kept the atmosphere light despite the chaos of customers coming in and out, the cooks and servers, busboys cleaning… overall, a good experience. If you’ve never been to a Waffle House, don’t expect it to be super clean, because they are open 24 hours. But if you’re down for breakfast all day, or a whit bite at any time of the day, this is the spot for you. Great for small or large groups. Till...

I have been to this waffle house a few times on the odd Saturday, with friend and family. Never would I think I would have a bad experience here, as up until. Today, we had one of the worst experiences I've had in dining out, in that our server Betty came by initially to greet us, giving and us a ton of attitude when we asked for a menu to select to make a selection of what we would like to eat, then walked away not to not to return. Someone else actually dropped off our drink during the time we were waiting, which i believe was close to 20 minutes, all the while trying to get her attention when she would walk by. But she never did stop to take our order, so we ended up telling the lady at the register we didn't even get to order and left.
