This Location is stingy on the Filling in its doughnuts the vanilla and chocolate Kreme are the worst, when on the turnpike I get doughnuts bursting with Kreme filling here sometimes I wonder where the filling is.I I have been eating Dunkin' since the 1970's in VA Beach this is disappointing Today I went back and had what could have been an awful experience turn around. The Kreme doughnuts had Kreme in them, the last time I was there a very nice employee David really helped me out by making some frosted doughnuts for me with out food coloring. I asked I I could have them mad for me today to the nice employee that was helping me and the drive trough girl barged in and said NO i could not since I have a roommate that does not like the food coloring I needed a moment to regroup and think what could I substitute the frosted doughnuts for. The rude drive through girl demanded "Is that ALL you are getting is the dozen doughnuts" I sad yes taken aback, she then barked "That WILL BE $8.49." I was so upset that I could not be given a moment to think about the rest of my order I said "Keep your doughnuts, you are being rude to me." I turned and walked away and said "you don't have to be so rude. " OKAY good-bye you.." I then said "I know the 800 number." In the parking lot a lovey couple the wife was expecting said she did them the same way so I walked back in and asked the manager . The Manager was wonderful he listened to my experience and then told me it was never a problem to ask for plain frosting they keep doughnuts in reserve for just my type of situation. He fixed the situation and got me my doughnuts he insisted they were on the house, I insisted I must pay for them I am a city employee and was wearing a city work shirt, and this was not about free doughnuts. I paid for them and was satisfied. I also said I understand if the girl was having a bad day but that should not be taken out on the customers and If he could take care of his worker because she might have a lot on her mind and I did not want her fired because she probably has worries of her own. I...
Read moreWent back to politely ask for my iced coffee to be remade as they usually get it right but mistakes happen and as a food worker of a decade I had no issue just wanted to enjoy my coffee correctly so went for a remake. The heavy set loud and arrogant employee on shift argued with me immediately trying to deceive me saying it was made correctly. A clear lie as I’ve had barista experience for years and also enjoyed Dunkin iced coffee almost daily for gosh over a decade. Trying to end the back and forth and just have it remade felt impossible and then she stuttered muttering obscenities under her breath just loud enough that I could hear. It was so nasty that myself, a rather reserved kind natured empathetic person asked her why she felt the need to trash talk me for just truing to enjoy something I purchased / also I frequent this location and tip. She make a long story short she escalated it so extremely much that she smashed the cup on the floor, spilling coffee all over several employees. It started cussing and yelling obscenities with children and young children at that present, Walked away, screaming, and hurling insults at me. Every other employee froze and looked lost and mortified at what to do. Another coworker made my drink, and I tried to be as kind as possible, and made her see how simple the remake was, I apologize and explained that I am a regular there and try to tip and be as kind as possible but this was absolutely unacceptable and out of nowhere over regular occurrence that happens I’m sure multiple times daily. We were not offered any compensation or discount or free services or anything to make amends for the outrageous scene that we just experienced. We walked out, feeling very unappreciated and attacked over a simple iced coffee. I apologize to the mother of the children and felt like I was taking their responsibility that these employees or employee specifically - Just that one, Should’ve been doing. No de-escalation was done whatsoever to resolve the situation. I’m conflicted if I’ll ever go back as this was my daily...
Read moreMade an online pickup order almost 2 weeks ago, and was about 20-30 minutes late picking up so it obviously gave the staff more than enough time to complete the order. Instead when we arrived, my boyfriend and I were greeted by an incompetent team who had no idea how to fill an online order correctly. After spending another 20-30 minutes inside waiting for the order that should have been ready a LONG time ago, the clueless staff offered my boyfriend a flat of 4 drinks not once but twice AFTER he already explained that the drinks weren’t his and that they didn’t even have the right name on the side unless he looks like a “Megan” to them. After the second time he declined the drinks that weren’t his (the whole order we made was 2 lattes and a half dozen donuts) he was asked the name on our order an additional 3 times because the employee helping him didn’t have a memory longer than 8 seconds. They didn’t have any of the donuts we ordered, so we got a bunch of random gross ones, and the drinks were laughable. The kicker was that the employee serving the HOT DRINKS TO-GO didn’t feel the need to put a hot drink stopper in either, and in his rush to shove the drinks at my boyfriend, one of the hot lattes spilled over onto my boyfriends hand and made a good little burn mark for a few hours. Do yourself a favor and go LITERALLY anywhere else in the morning. I used to stop here every day on my way to work, and it’s progressively gone downhill the last several months. After reaching out to customer service and explaining the situation end how dangerous this location has become, they assured me that it was being taken seriously and that I would be getting g contacted by someone on the management/ownership team of that location. That was a week ago, and DD customer service and this location is laughable. They’re honestly lucky we aren’t sue-happy, because this potential lawsuit would’ve paid us a...
