I showed up to eat in, by my self, at 8:05. The hostess looked at me and said, "Can I help you?" I said, "I would like to eat here please." She sat me down said, "well, we close at 9." I said, "do I need to go somewhere else?" She said, "No, but do you know what you want to eat yet?" Obviously rushing me, and the store doesn't close for nearly an hour. I order and my food comes out, the sampler plate. It was decent, nothing out of the ordinary. I finished and asked the waitress for a piece of cake. She said, "I don't think we have any unless it's to go." At this point it's 8:35. So I said, "ok, to go then." She came back a couple minutes later with the cake in a brown bag and the bill. I paid as fast as I could and she followed me out of the store. At this point it's 8:45. I get to my car and decide to eat my cake. I open the bag and there's no fork. I jump out of my car and try to go back in to get a plastic one, but i can't. The doors are locked tight and nobody in sight. It sucks being rushed the whole time I'm trying to relax...
Read moreRecently moved to Gainesville, and went searching for a new pizza place to try. What a find this place was! We had a "The works" pizza, a calzone, a stromboli, and a Fera's salad. All of them were delicious. The dressing for the salad is a tomato-based vinegrette, and it's delicious. Tastes a bit like marinara sauce, but a little sweet with a little vinegar tang. I'd eat more salad if it had that dressing on it. lol Their pizza sauce tastes homemade. Fresh and so flavorful. Even the cheeses on pizza and the ricotta in my calzone tasted better, definitely not the stuff you get in the grocery store. Oh and the crust...I'm in love with this crust. Crispy and a little chewy. The whole flavor of their pizza reminds me of New York style (my ultimate favorite and hard to find anywhere else). Some of the best pizza we've ever had. So glad we...
Read moreMediocre at Best Don’t get me wrong, the staff was kind, wait time wasn’t long, and the rolls were great! But, our dinners we got weren’t as good. The fettuccine alfredo was bland, could barely even taste the cheese. My partner got the lasagna which had little to no meat in it and described the pasta as tasting like “just wet noodles”. I had a little taste and the sauce tasted watered down. It wasn’t great, but at least the scenery inside is nice. I know this part isn’t the restaurant’s fault but as a little warning to anyone reading this: parking lot is small and confusing so be careful! Also likely lot their fault: menu prices are more expensive than listen on their website by roughly 2-3$...
