Subway — Restaurant in Gainesville

I heard that the night shift was laid off, and I find that insane. The only thing that kept me coming to this subway was the guarantee of clean, friendly, and fast service. The manager was wearing pajamas while making food, and while the employees were trying their best, the line is always at a stand still. I find it hard to believe that the manager replaced that awesome night crew with herself and these new employees. Ever since the regular night crew was laid off, this place has gone downhill. From the manager serving food in pajamas, touching her face and hair, leaning over food, and the general uncleanliness, I find it hard to want to return. It's to the point that I will request that the manager never prepare my food, I do not trust her cleanliness.

I don't always look forward to eating subway every day for work, but there is one employee that makes my subway visit worth it when he is there. Andy is very great :)

I would loovvveee to give this Subway 5 stars. The reason I only am giving it 4 is because of their new employee. They’ve had an older guy start within the past couple of weeks and since then I’ve just been disgusted. I’ve repeatedly seen this man wipe his sweat, face, and nose while wearing gloves and continuing to make sandwiches with the same gloves!!! Disgusting!!!! Hopefully they see their mistake and have him replaced because me and my fellow coworkers have stopped going over there when we see he’s there. But on another note, Andy and Jonathan are THE BEST workers at subway and are the only ones that can make the churros correctly. They make sandwiches fast and efficiently which is good because us workers don’t have forever to wait for a sandwich!

The team member did a horrible job assembling my sandwich and used so much mayo that it smushed the sandwich. I took two bites and it was disgusting. I was really disappointed so went back for a refund so I could go elsewhere.

They gave me half back since they thought I ate half the sandwich??? No it was just smushed and drenched in mayo.

The manager was so rude. I was not about to be a part of a confrontation from how she was behaving so I left with my $7 after paying over $14 tipping them as well (before realizing they destroyed my sandwich). Never again. I advise everyone in our research wing of my experience and heard similar experiences. Something needs to...
