Wawa — Restaurant in Gainesville

First of all this store is clean and makes the same awesome sandwiches and handmade coffees Wawa has made us all love.

Upon visiting Monday February 8th 2021, I had placed a curbside order that for some unknown reason failed in the Wawa app but after having successfully gone through and charged the bank. I was told by someone who came to assist the cashier that I first started speaking to that I need to stand off to the side and wait because they are in the middle of a rush, to which I replied my order was supposed to have been scheduled to be brought out to my car 15 minutes ago so I would really appreciate it if somebody would consider that my place in line. A young man with the name tag ANDREW jumped into action {comma} assessing that the order had in fact been placed and could not see why the computer canceled it and went and personally spoke to the deli and the coffee shop and gave them the order of verbally put everything through and was professional and courteous the entire time. Whatever Andrew's current position, offer him a promotion...

I never make reviews but this experience needed one. Went to this Wawa for just 1 cup of mac and cheese and waited for an estimated 30 minutes. I was the only person waiting for food after 2 people in front of me received their food. after about 25 minutes i saw that they put up what looked like my order. The girl working the kitchen area didn’t even call out the order number she just walked off to a different area of the store. The guy working the drink area clearly saw i had been waiting for a long time and still didn’t even help me or cared to ask what i was waiting on. I eventually went up to the drink guy and asked if he could help me. Right when he was going to help me the girl working the kitchen area came back but she STILL didn’t call out the number order. I asked her if that was my order and she said yes. i expressed to her that she never even called out the order number. but she didn’t seem to care. 0/0 stars for...

Okay gas station. But as far as Wawa-s go (consider their average standard across the nation), there's a lot to be desired here (could be said the same for all of the Gainesville locations). They need to pay a little more attention to the details of a food or drink order which is clearly outlined in the order, the items that their app would have would sometimes go missing from their shelves (especially bakery items), & there's a consistent homeless situation on their benches where customers should be able to sit and grab a bite without having to have to shell out for panhandlers or other people's food (multiple experiences of my own, hopefully yours will be better).
