Whataburger — Restaurant in Gainesville

I tried to give a fair go a few times ,thinking maybe the first time was just a random mistake ,but the first experience my burger meat was cold ,pickles were stringy and the bacon was like the cheaper microwave kind ..very floppy and not a crisp at all 😞 and I said I would give a fair shot so I went the second time and my meat was extremely red inside and I don't know the meat they use so I was thinking it was unsafe it not looking cooked through...I was so excited to have a new restaurant in the area for a fast meal ,but unfortunately was very disappointed 😞 I will give credit where it is due and say the staff is very polite ...I'm thinking maybe this is many of thier first jobs probably..but I think the staff on the grill could use alittle more training..and also to add on my second visit my fries tasted as if they were cooked in very old grease ..I hope they can get the right training and make sure they are able to get things fixed for the benefit of the customers and staff because I'm sure they would want to know the mistakes to make it a enjoyable experience...

The burger was fairly decent. Nothing particularly special. The service additionally was pretty decent above McDonald’s grade at least but the atmosphere amongst the employees there was fairly hostile, slightly uncomfortable and as a result, we may not revisit this location. Additionally, the fries were pretty decent as well, but I had to go back in and request a adequate portion of fries as we spent $26 on this food and the fry container that I received didn’t even reach the top line fortunately enough, the manager own duty, handled it with professionalism and provided me with a adequate amount of fries worth a $26 meal But overall I do believe that because this is a new location the standard should be fairly high considering the prices are more or less Chick-fil-A value so I kind of expected Chick-fil-A like service but neither here or they’re welcome to the fast food industry maybe with better management and employees...

Store is very small. Took 14 minutes to get my food to my table. They bring food to your table. My burger was excellent. The drinks are terrible. Tea and Sodas like Coke because they DO NOT use Filtered water. Therefore if you live in Gainesville you know what I’m talking about. The water here taste terrible. Taste like sewage smells. My neighbor warned me of this before I came. He had eaten here yesterday. Said Coke tastes awful and it does. They need to put a filtration system in place. Otherwise I thought the Food, my double cheeseburger Jr. was really good. I normally do not eat burgers out at restaurants because usually they have no flavor. I have to say this burger today was excellent. I ate every bite of my burger and fries. Fries are just ok, nothing special. Room for improvement but In my opinion the burger...
