If I could leave half a star I would but that option isnât available. I have recently switched from US Cellular after having service with them for 5-6 years. Out of that time I have not had good service, I would drop calls in the middle of town. I was charged for two phones that werenât even in my possession and when I tried to speak with them to fix it, all they told me was that I would have to pay until the phones were paid off so I was paying almost $250 a month for just myself. Later on I needed an IPad and I explained that I would be using it at home and would not need the data plan with it. After purchasing I start seeing on my bill that they put it on a data plan anyways which charged me more. I eventually got my phone paid off and guess what MY BILL WENT UP. Now make that make sense. Now we are to me leaving them, I ended services at the beginning of July and noticed that I was still receiving a bill. I call them and find out that my request wasnât processed due to a glitch in THEIR SYSTEM. I call back to find out whatâs going on and they claimed that got it taken care of. I still to this day am receiving a bill but from the time I tried to end my service to the next month, August, when they actually got it cancelled. I have spoke with representative after representative and no one is willing to help with this issue and just expect me to pay them almost $350 when I should really only owe them for the time I had services and their phone from June to July. Long story short , just âtaxes and fees , 95 something.â I get it . Then turn around and pay $350+ $To be told sorry someone made a mistake now I need to pay additional $300+ taxes AGAIN , (mind you I payed my 180$ bill Friday). SO I LEAVE TODAY WITHOUT A TABLET , or my 440$+ . AND COULD POSSIBLY BE BILL CREDITS NOT BACK TO MY CARD.My advice switch carriers or go to your local PRO-COM owned in galax hillsville or independence . Corporate is horrendous. And customer service has been closed all day!! AND THE RECEIPT SHOWS THE IMEI (vin# of device just like a car) that paid towards , âas she saidâ . But it doesnt match my phone the only on the account . So fill in the blanks , someone has my tablet or they just didnât give it to me!!    Read moreMy local US Cellular in Independence, Va hadn't been able to get in a specific phone I wanted for my husband for over 3 months and they never could help me order it or try to contact another store to check their stock. I finally settled on a phone they had in stock, not what I wanted and told him I'd think about it. Well I decided to try this store in galax. I called and asked if they had a particular phone in stock and they said yes. So they held the phone for about an hour til I got down there. When I arrived all the associates were very courteous. I told them what I was there for and I asked them about the phone I had been looking for at independence for over 3 months, THEY HAD IT IN STOCK! I highly recommend going to this store to purchase a new phone when you're eligible. They're fast and they have an abundance of products in stock.
