Lim's Ice Cream, LLC — Restaurant in Galesburg

Back and even better than before! It seems the folks at Lim's got a nice little scoop of vitality with their new owners.

I have personally tried the banana pudding as well as the blackberry variety and both are top of the line straight down to the tips of your toes. The folks were very cordial and just seemed pleased to be able to sling ice cream in the middle of a pandemic. Their premium treats look like they are straight out of a madman's dream and I can only imagine all the wonderful and delectable concoctions that will come out of every unique trip from here on out. I am a sucker for shakes and recently saw on their FB that they just added a shake machine in order to "shakify" any flavor in the store!

I might need to get a bank loan for the dentist bills and freezer space I will need to purchase because there isn't a weekend that goes by I haven't at least thought about making a trip to Lim's. But that is a problem I will deal with...

Visited for the first time today. The workers are so nice, and the owner is super cheerful and instantly made me feel welcomed!! The ice cream is very high quality, and there are countless options to choose from. They also have other options like shakes, smoothies, sundaes, and even other creations that they’ve made and recommend!

The waffle cones are handmade and they make them right in front of you. They recommended it to me and boy am I glad they did. It was SO tasty! I got 2 flavors: Michigan Pot Hole and Carolina Peach. As you can see in the picture the cone & ice cream scoops are really big. Such a great deal for the low price!!

Needless to say I am going to frequent this place more often...

This was my daughters first visit here and we always do a photo together when it's daughter, mother day out. There are 44 flavors in store to try and as they use them up they add new flavors. My daughter and granddaughter both loved it here. When I use to work in Galesburg I'd go here at lunch for a nice cool refreshing treat. The day we stopped the owner was there and when we took our selfie he popped out and said I'm the real version of the guy on the window would you like a picture with me? We were very honored and said yes please. Thanks Lims for an awesome...
