One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a restaurant hands down.
Came in on a Sunday around lunch time. The wait time was short and the only good thing about the dining experience. We were seated at a table that was oddly positioned in a main walkway to the serving area. A young Hispanic lady sat us down, gave us the menus and left. She never said a word nor told us anything at all. After 15 minutes of waiting, we noticed that other guests were being seated and served all around us. These guests were mostly Hispanic and Caucasian. We're African-American.
Another 10 minutes of waiting and I finally had to get the attention of a male employee who appeared to be the manager. He told me that someone would be there to help us. 8 minutes later, the young lady who sat us down initially came and took our drink order but when I said that we were ready to order food as well; the young lady walked away abruptly. She brought us our drinks and again I tried to order and again she walked away. I thought this was very rude of her.
During this whole time of waiting and being ignored; other guests all around at the other tables were being attended to and served promptly. Not a single Denny's employee even bothered to ask us if we needed water, our drinks refilled or if we had already ordered. Not one asked at all despite our table being in the middle of their traffic walkway.
Finally after waiting another 20 minutes, I called the manager over and asked to place our order. 2 Chicken Tenders Premium meals with fries and Mac n' cheese. 26 minutes later, we finally received our food after every other guest around us had already received their food.
Our food was cold, extremely salty to the taste and the dipping sauces were not brought to the table until we asked for them. Lastly the bread was brought after the food was delivered to our table and it was soaked in butter and unpalatable.
We asked for "to go" boxes and the young lady who seated us acted like she didn't want to talk to or serve us. She kept trying to walk by our table really fast and ignored me. We packed up the food and went to pay and ended up waiting another 15 minutes only to be ignored again by the same young lady.
We will not be going to this restaurant again because clearly Denny's hires employees that are racist and have bad customer service skills. All other customers were greeted with a smile and attended to by all employees but we did not so much as get a nod nor any concern, even while paying. Shameful! Wish I could...

What truly stood out was the exceptional service. My server was attentive and made sure my coffee was always full, checking in frequently to ensure I had everything I needed. It's clear that the staff at this Denny's takes pride in providing top-notch customer service, which made my visit all the more enjoyable.
