Baldinos Giant Jersey Subs — Restaurant in Garden City

Thru the years my family, friends and I were faithful patrons of this Garden City, GA Baldinos. In recent months due to dissatisfaction we will no longer patri ize. A couple weeks ago the first week of September 2024 I Ordered a family size sandwich. Bread was pieced together to make whole sandwich. The problem with that it was for a family of 4. Could not be cut in half then both in half again uniformly without pieces being messed up for equal persons slice. Bread not fresh. Meat was paper thin and guesstimate. Family size was to have double meat. No where near for the cost of $25.00. MAJOR RIP OFF. There should be accountability. Meats and cheese chould be consistant with weighed meats and cheese with listed quanity that should be on each sandwich. Tomatos were soft and lettuce not fresh. Mayonnaise was watery? Made my disgruntled pleasure known with no recourse. 2nd time in last two visits. I did have them to at least get bread in one run the time before. Meat was still slim for the cost. I told the persons I was not satisfied with their product quality, their customer satisfaction in making product to my liking as the customer as well as what I got for $25.00. Told them I would NEVER EVER darken the doors of their establishment again. SORRY, SORRY, SORRY. ONE WOULD DO BETTER GETTING THEM A LOAF OF BREAD, MEAT, LETTUCE, CHEESE & TOMATO AT LOCAL GROCER AND MAKE THEIR OWN TO LIKING. THEY COULD STILL HAVE AT LEAST BE SATISFIED AT HALF THE PRICE!!!! I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANY ONE TO PATRONIZE THE BALDONOS IN GARDEN CITY EVEN IF THEY WERE GIVING PRODUCT FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP OFFS. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FALL VICTIM TO THIS STORES POORLY PREPARED, SERVED, OVER CHARGED AND LACK OF PRODUCT FOR MY HARD EARNED MONEY. IM GOING TO HELP ADVERTISE THEIR SORRINESS AND DISSAPOINTING EXPERIANCES I RECEIVED FROM THERE. I WOULD NOT BE DISSAPOINTED TO SEE A CLOSING, GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SIGN ON THEIR DOORS! If I could rate NEGATIVE stars I would! First of all let me say I’ve been to many Baldinos chains before and I love their sandwiches and I have never had a problem before today. I walked into this location in Garden city and was the only customer inside. The woman behind the counter just stared at me as I walked down the counter looking at the menu before saying loudly “uh Ma’am, what are you doing?” Obviously I was trying to order. But I smiled and said that I was looking at the menu. I understand everything is now different due to coronavirus and having to stay 6-feet apart but her tone and rudeness was just the beginning. After I told her I was looking at the menu before she cut me off and told me where I needed to stand to order. I should have left right then. After a couple of minutes she asked what she could get for me and before I was able to answer she asked the question again as if I didn’t answer fast enough. I told her the sandwich I wanted to order and asked if they had Italian bread. Then the woman said “yeh this is Italian bread I got out for you already” I replied asking if I could try a wheat instead and she told me “this is wheat” in such a snappy, nasty tone. Confused bc she just told me that was Italian. It was obvious that she was having a horrible day and hated her job and didn’t give two craps about anyone but being a complete a**hole. So finally I had had enough. I told her “you know what I don’t think I like your attitude and you most definitely need to work on your customer service skills.” That’s when she started raising her voice and screaming at me to leave. Was feeling memories about Baldinos, as it has been at least 15 years, decided to ordere online and pickup en route somewhere else. 3 subs each with wheat bread. When I got there, the place looked disgusting and when I walked in I was looked at as if I was in the wrong place. Outside and inside are completely disheveled, and place otherwise completely desolate. 2 guys inside looked confused and defensive when I walked in, felt like a drug front. not to mention the Union Camp odor was particularly strong right there and I really wanted to vomit when I got inside. I ate part of my sub and threw the whole thing away after vomiting when I got home (for fear of bacteria). totally gross experience and I'm LOLing at another review here which refers to enjoying an "organic" sub which they absolutely are the opposite of that. roast beef was colored closer to a sickly looking ham, place is the twilight zone and of course all 3 subs actually had White bread, the opposite of what was ordered. There were probably 10 individually crunched up napkins strewn in the bag, which looked like it was tied together by a blind person. If I owned Baldinos I would revoke this franchise immediately!
