I had heard bad things about Jiffy Lube, but decided to take a chance with this one based on the the good reviews. Big mistake.
I went last year in August to get an oil change. Within a few weeks my low oil light came on, and it was discovered that the techs (listed as Corban M. and Anthony D.) had NOT put the the oil cap back on. So there was oil all over my engine and everything else. I called Kenneth Cox the manager who agreed to replace the cap, and put in more oil. So, I thought I was good to go.
Today I go to get my oil changed at another place out of state. They were having a difficult time getting the oil filter off. It took them about 20 minutes just to get it off, and they discovered that it has been CROSSTHREADED on previously. They said nothing could explain this happening besides laziness and lack of concern for a customer's car. They asked where I got my oil changed last. I told them Jiffy Lube, and they said they often deal with this same issue from the Jiffy Lubes near them. They managed to get a new filter on with some difficulty because now the threads were shredded on the screw, but said I will probably need to go to a dealership to get the entire box replaced.
Jiffy Lube has been sued for not replacing oil filters and poor maintence practices. Not only did they do an awful job, but it was the most expense oil change I had ever paid for. Do yourself a favor, and take your car somewhere where you won't end up paying extra money to fix...

Read moreI just pulled into this location for an oil change for my company vehicle. Hours of operation on all signage indicate 2:30 pm on a Thursday is a working time. When I arrived I could see a staff member inside, but the bay doors were down. I pulled up to a bay door and waited for some assistance (following signs to stay in my vehicle). After about 5 minutes I called the store phone number, twice. No answer either time. I got out of my vehicle to walk into the entrance, and upon opening the door, encountered an employee who was sitting down. I asked if the location was open, as all signs indicated it was. The employee said simply "no." It caught me slightly off-guard, but I followed up with "when will you be open again?" The response was "I don't know." And with that the employee was back on her phone ignoring my presence. After reiterating that the employee did not know when the store would be open again, I turned to go.
