This is the first time staying in a KOA. My family of 4, wife, and two daughters 6 and 15. If you have kids of any age, this is the place to go. Mini golf to swimming pool, basketball court to horse shoes. With nightly train and tractor rides around the park. There is plenty for the kids and even the adults to do. Lots of shade as well. The only think I thought was a negative, is the layout of the spots. Because of the location of the hook ups, you and your neighbors become very very close. Instead of facing the back of your neighbors trailer, you and your neighbors face each other. With your front doors literally 15 to 20 feet apart. Plus your fire pits and picnic tables are about 5 feet from each other. We were lucky and had a very nice older couple with grandkids for a couple of nights and the last night the spot was vacant. I could see that if you had some annoying, loud or rude neighbors, it could effect your stay in a big way. We would absolutely...
Read moreWe were here for a family reunion and had lots of kids with us on 7/16/22. “Bennet” and another young guy were the staff. There was little to no instruction with our first round of kids (just the recording playing with no instruction to listen). And on the second round with new people from our group showing up, the recording wasn’t even played. Because the kids didn’t get sufficient instructions, a few small kids (ages 5-8) got stuck on the railing. Because of that we then had a pile up with almost all the cars. This was met by threats and rudeness from the staff saying “we should have already kicked you out” and “one more like that and you are done.” Still no instruction or help for the little kids, just negativity. We were SO excited and overall had an okay time, but the customer service/professionalism could have been MUCH better. It’s sad when the staff, not the experience, make the time a negative one. Better staff and we would’ve given a 5...
Read moreWe took our family there for a family reunion. We had 24 people and spent over $500 to ride the track with all the kids. We were having a blast and ended up with 4 spare tickets. We went to the desk to buy 1 additional ticket so all the dads could go 1 final time. When purchasing the ticket, the teenager at the booth said “we don’t really want you guys to ride anymore” to which we asked “Have we done something wrong or something we weren’t supposed to?” The young man said, “No, you’ve just been here a long time and we want you to leave.” Granted, we were the only family there for the first 30 minutes and gladly let others that showed up go before we took our last ride. I was really irritated by his comment, because we were just having fun and spent a great deal of money to be told to basically leave because they didn’t want to work anymore. Our kids love it, but please don’t be rude, because people are there a long time and paying...
