Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Garden City

Stopped at Jack in the Box for an egg roll. I wanted something small to hold me over till dinner. Of course the classic waffle fries caught my eye. Everyone knows that Jack in the Box will always be known for the best cheesy potatoe wedges. But the classic waffle fries were basically the bacon potatoe wedges, just revamped with different fries. Potatoes and cheese are always a winning combo.

I went through the drive thru. Ordered my egg roll and some classic waffle fries without the bacon. Pulled up to the window, got checked out and got my food handed to me. I'm not gonna lie, the bag felt hella light but I didn't think much of it. I only ordered a couple things so it shouldn't be that heavy. But there truly was no weight to the bag.

I got home and was excited to eat. Got my egg roll out, no sweet and sour sauce. No biggie, I can eat it without. Grabbed my waffle fries and boy did they look disappointing. I asked for no bacon and they completely left out the cheese. As much as I didn't want to go back to get my order fixed, I did.

I walked in this time. Talk to the gentleman who originally helped me about the mix up. He told me the bacon was mixed into the cheese...... I think he was trying to pull a fast one on me. Why would you want to admit you screwed up? I have ordered enough potatoe wedges and fries with cheese to know that the bacon has never been "mixed" into the cheese. I asked him why didn't he inform me that the bacon was mixed into the cheese? I wouldn't have ordered them if that was the case. He gave me another lame excuse and said he would get my waffle fries fixed.

I got my new waffle fries and my sweet & sour sauce. Drove home again. Of course my egg roll was cold by the time I got to eat it at home. I was annoyed by the whole transaction that I really didn't enjoy my waffle fries. Whatever the white sauce was on top was not a good addition to the fries. It could have gone without.

I stopped going to Jack in the Box for a while now. They are consistently inconsistent with their food delivery. I guess when you're intoxicated at 2 a.m. it's pretty legit. But it sucks when you have standards, standards that are pretty basic and the staff can't deliver basics cause the employees honestly don't care. Today was just another reason why I stayed away...

My friend Josh got me and my son and himself food. My son and I got the cheap double cheeseburger deal with fries and a drink. We both switched out our drink since we don't drink soda for a milkshake the witch milkshake to be exact. We didn't get a receipt as my friend Josh declined it. Anyways the burger and fries were good nothing to write home about. The milkshake had a weird taste to it and the advertising said something about it having Oreos in it which I couldn't taste. It was the worst milkshake I've ever had. My son said the same. I wasn't sure what to do since we didn't have a receipt and usually you need one to get them to do anything about food that doesn't taste good. I did tell my friend Josh that the shake didn't taste good while we were dining in. I don't like complaining about food but that was gross hopefully that's not what it's supposed...

There was a previous review about the disrespectful drive-through employee who I just encountered this morning. The other reviewers completely right she is 100% disrespectful. I placed a pick up order showed up. She told me there is no order and I said yeah there is a showed her and she said well too bad there’s no order and I’ll let her know.
