Great experience. The pastor burrito was delicious and massive! Tons of flavor! I ordered a side of guacamole as an enhancement and it wasn't even necessary. The meat, beans, cheese, salsa verde, and pico was everything I was hoping for. The chips and salsa they brought out were fresh and delicious and had just the right amount of kick. The service was great too! Efficient, friendly and informative. The ambiance was everything I want from a whole in the wall sit down restaurant. All in, great job everyone! Will definitely return.

This is my second review. We came here on a Saturday night and had a what could only be described as a lesser experience. The restaurant was very busy as you could expect for a Saturday night. Once seated, we were greeted by a very friendly server who gave us a couple of recommendations and then we placed our order. After a few minutes of waiting for a soda and a water, I had to get another staff members attention to remind them of that. They were brought out promptly with chips and a salsa that was spicy enough that it should come with a warning. I digress. Our food arrived a few minutes later and it was delicious. I was finally reminded of why we decided to come here. Our order had a couple of special instructions that were followed perfectly. The service was much better once we got our food and the restaurant seemed to be slowing down. The cooler that holds bottled beverages had a very loud, unpleasant and distracting squeak to it that I'm sure the staff members block out but was a very loud inconvenience to my date and I. A little WD-40 goes a long way. Overall the experience was a 3.7 out of 5 but, if I decide to come back here, it will most likely be during the week when...

I was browsing the internet last night after Disneyland for good Mexican food. This restaurant had some award so my boyfriend and I decided to try it and we made it five minutes before close so we decided to get the food to go. My bf asked for fries and they apparently ran out. After we ordered we sat there for about 20 mins and never were given chips and salsa. The waiter that wasn't helping us saw our tired faces with our heads resting on our faces and went to tell our waiter and literally mocked us. Our waiter noticed that I saw her and I can see how uncomfortable she made the situation and came to let us know our food should almost be done and brought the check. 20 minutes for take-out felt really long ! The bill was $42! I had asked for grilled onions and grilled jalapeños which they charged $3 each and it was left over and very little they packed! I jr also asked our waiter for green sauce and lemons or lines to go and he said they also ran out of green sauce and the lemons or lines never made it to our bag! I am not upset they didn't have the fries or green sauce! I am upset with the service and how much hype this place has on the web! I am originally from California and this food sucks!!!!! I mean I didn't even finish my food! Waste of time and money! Do not go here ! I am sure the people that rate this place with many more stars than one are tourist and don't kno any better! Yuck! I never write any reviews but I literally reset my leakers for google to leave my terrible experience because I dislike...

Looking for excellent Mexican food, look no further than Sabroso! Mexican Grill.

My wife is an attorney and I am in real estate, so we have little time to cook, which forces us to eat out often. We have frequented many restaurants throughout Southern California, and none compare to Sabroso! Mexican Grill. Sabroso! is our all time favorite place to eat real, authentic Mexican food. Heck, the food is so good, Guy Fieri had to come and see what all the fuss was about! If you have high standards like us, are looking for fresh food and family friendly service for a modest price, then you have found the right place. Sabroso! has built their success on the family's hard work and the results that come out of Papa Tito's kitchen.

We have tried various items on the menu. Their famous Chamorro slow-cooked beef plate is on point, and so is the Chile Verde. Both items come with handmade tortillas and Peruvian beans, which will make you never want to eat beans at another restaurant again. The Pozole is to die for, even on a hot day. The Tortas are the best we have ever had, and the Asada plate is juicy, tender and served atop a large piece of cactus. If you are looking for something different, try the mushroom or lemon chicken. Both are tasty and well worth a try.

Don't miss out on this place. They have earned countless awards and recognition in the restaurant industry. My wife and I have frequented this restaurant so often, they have become our second family. So yes, there actually is a...

We ordered several items from this place. Unfortunately, only 2 of the items we ordered was something we might order again if we were to come back. First of the bat, it looks like the triple D host Guy Fieri was there bec there is a huge signed photo of him in the front entrance. We hv visited a few places that Guy featured on his show and only 1 of them was really good and that was Thai Opal in Oahu. Most of the places we hv visited that he had recommended were not very good... in my opinion. But here was his picture and we decided to give the place a shot. We ordered 3 enchilada dinners, a chile verde dinner and a wet burrito. We also tried their bean dip, which i liked but the other 4 ppl that were with me disagreed. Their bean dip had stuff in it that my company did not care for. I really liked my chile verde and the 4 other ppl did too. I tried their enchiladas, one chicken..two carne asadas..all 4 of us did not like the enchiladas at all. It lacked flavor😞 and it did not look appetizing to me. I tried the wet chicken burrito...first off, it was huge...but full of rice and hardly any chicken..again this lacked flavor to me...we also ordered a pork tamale..somehow it had a soapy taste..yes, soapy...but it looked good..so now, my company and i agreed that if Guy Fieri recommended it on his show, i think we will pass...it's unfortunate because we wanted to like this place...

The staff were very friendly and they have some of the best salsa I’ve tasted, brought me right back to when I was in Mexico and the staff brought me the “good stuff that we eat” out from the back. I wish I had ordered the chili verde or one of the items they suggested, because while I love to support family businesses (and I would still come back here) my chili relleno was underwhelming. The pepper was delicious, but it was filled with a rock solid piece of cojita (the hard crumbly kind) cheese that simply wasn’t edible. The shrimp on top was tasty. My wife loved the red enchilada sauce, but the mole sauce was cloyingly chocolate forward. The fajitas smelled amazing, so I think there are real treasures here. The rice was good - beans had great flavor - even if they were a little thin. The strawberry margarita was sweet and I’m pretty sure it was wine based, I certainly didn’t taste any tequila. Again, overall the people were super nice and the salsa was amazing - I really wanted to give them 4 stars but since I left more than half my plate I think 3 is more representative of my experience - but I think if you order the right items you could even have a 5 star experience here.
