Indulge yourself in a Vietnamese dessert paradise!
Whenever my partner and I are in the area, we always make it a point to stop by for some indulgent afternoon treats. The che chuoi, with its perfect combination of banana, coconut sauce, tapioca, and casava, is always my partner's favorite, while I can never resist the 3 color dessert, a generous cup filled with delicious toppings like red beans, mung bean paste, and tapioca.
Despite the crowds and overwhelming number of choices, you can't go wrong with anything here. The quality and taste of the desserts are always top-notch. The only downside is the parking can be a bit of a hassle during peak hours, so be sure to keep an eye out for available street parking.
Not all the workers here speak English so if you can bring a Vietnamese friend, that will be best. They also have a young worker that can help with translating what each tray contains if you're curious on what to try.
Pro tip: Bring cash as they don't accept credit cards. You can always Venmo the owner but it's just easier to have...

They have a very wide variety of sweet desserts for you to choose. The shop is located in the very busy shopping center on the corner of Westminster Avenue and Kerry Street at 9784 Westminster Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92844.
Parking is limited and the line to order can be long sometimes but the sweet dessert is worth the wait. They're open 7 days a week from 8 am-6:30 pm and they only take cash. Try to get there early because some of the popular desserts sell out fast. We ordered a tray of sweet sticky rice and corn with syrup along with 3 dessert drinks with mixed colorful jelly. Ordering can be intimidating at first because we didn't know how to pronounce all the names of the dessert, but the employee was quick to help us out. We'll be back again for our favorite desserts and maybe try something new. Check it out if you're...

The owner was not very nice (Fake and rude), and lied about the ice (we asked for shaved ice like the photo, and she said that’s the smallest ice the machine can make and that’s the same ice as in the photo). We know what shaved ice is, if you don’t have shaved ice, just say so, don’t try to convince us that the photo shows your cubed ice, or that there’s no machine that can make smaller ice than cube. :/
Khoai mi and chuoi xao dua is standard. The ladies who work there are nice.
We came BC this brand/name of store is really awesome in the Fairfax/Virginia area, so when we were visiting we wanted to stop by.
After the experience above, and with so many choices to choose from for Vietnamese desserts in the area and to support the business, we won’t be coming back or tell other...
