It's Boba Time — Restaurant in Gardena

You might think of me as a boba fanatic and I've tried my fair share of places. But It's Boba Time in Gardena? They've got my heart (and my tastebuds!). Seriously, this is my go-to spot.

First off, let's talk about the boba. They get the texture perfect every single time. It's that perfect balance of chewy and soft – never too hard, never too mushy. And they NEVER mess it up, which is a big deal in the boba world!

When I need a little caffeine kick, I always go for the Frosty Milk #5. The combination of coffee jelly, espresso, and boba frosty milk is the perfect pick-me-up.

But when I'm in the mood for something refreshing, their iced teas are where it's at. I'm obsessed with the Galaxy Iced Tea – it's so pretty and the star-shaped mango jelly is a fun touch. The Sunset Iced Tea is another favorite – the layers of color are gorgeous, and the passion fruit and hibiscus flavors are so vibrant. And you can't go wrong with the Watermelon Passion Iced Tea – it's the perfect summer drink.

And when I just want something cold and fruity, their slushes are amazing. The lychee and watermelon slushes are my go-to's – they're so refreshing and packed with flavor.

The drinks here are good, don't let my rating make you think otherwise. Sometimes it's just the service. I went once, ordered a drink and a tiramisu slice. The cashier told the other girl to get it. But the other girl turns to me and yells "YOU SAID COOKIE?". I had said "no, tiramisu" and she says "it sounded like you told her cookie". They then start to laugh. Placed a pick up order. It notified me it was ready, and I still waited in my car a few minutes. After about 5 minutes, I went inside. Girl behind the counter asks me what order was mine. I told her "it's a pick up order for --" and she just turned away. I assumed maybe it wasn't ready. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I noticed my order had been sitting in the fridge the whole time. I walk up again and let her know that my order was the one in the fridge, showed her my phone. She then gave me a face, the drinks and the straws and turned away.

There mightve been 1 or 2 other times but these...

My boyfriend ordered boba as a surprise! We have this new found love of boba and specifically this location. During my first sip, I Found a METAL BB inside One of the Four drinks My boyfriend ordered! We are AFRAID TO DRINK ANY OF THE OTHER THREE so they are still in the freezer sealed. This location has a number that is not in service and after discussing options about what actions we should take, we have decided to bring this to the attention of the health department.

I have kitchen experience and cannot put together any reason why or how a BB is accidentally in a beverage or yet overlooked in a kitchen! We are dumbfounded and want more than just a sorry and a full refund. ingesting METAL/LEAD is dangerous. Owners of this boba time need to overlook their kitchen before serving anymore.
