I come here a lot but yesterday's visit was horrible. The cashier was not friendly, didn't say hello, didn't let us know if she was ready for us to order, she just stood there with her hand hovering over the register. I didn't take it personally at first, they were busy maybe she was stressed However my friend had returned to the register to order a sandwich that my other friend had and he asks for one and the cashier says your friend already ordered one and proceeds to tell him that twice like he didn't know that. Kind of felt like she was trying to belittle him but he proceeded to explain that he wants his own sandwich and then she just says sorry we are closed and not taking anymore orders. Now I wouldn't have been upset if she stated that first. She made the interaction longer than it needed to be but anyway my friend just kept asking for the sandwich that was beside her and then she charges him for it and he pays.. the whole transaction literally took less than a minute.
I ordered a rose milk tea and nearly choked on a flower the whole bud was in there. I've had this drink before never experienced that, idk if that's the usual thing and I've never noticed but I would've liked a warning. I found two more flowers in there, petals are fine but the short stem and bud I was not...
Read moreTheir milk tea is really sweet - just the way I like it! When I order, I get something that's expected. I've tried 3 drinks so far and I've enjoyed all of them. I haven't had boba but I did have their egg pudding once (it wasn't amazing, but not bad - it was a little more gelatinous than I was hoping for, but that's okay).
They've been slammed with lots of customers and there is often a wait, but that's not the fault of the cafe or the employees. You can tell they're working as quickly as possible to take orders and make drinks. Often there are only 1 or 2 employees, and there's a "we're hiring" sign, so prepare to wait if it's a high-traffic time (like after work). Last time I went there were about 6 parties ahead of me and about a 15 minute wait.
There is some seating outside for those who want to drink and listen to K-pop (there's a speaker on the door), or for those who are waiting for their order.
Anyway, this is my new favorite milk tea place. The milk teas drinks are very milky and not bitter like some other places, so come here if that's what you like! Great for people with a...
Read moreTo describe this café in one word, "variety" would be the sole winner. The sheer magnitude of combinations that one can involve in everything from milk tea to gelato is staggering. Not only does the joint have taste, but the neon vibe makes a great place to start or end the evening. Not relaxing, mind you; however upbeat yet calm in attitude. Simply a nice balance. If I had one piece of constructive criticism to provide it would be a means of looking into expediting the making of the drinks. Even with one order in the queue it can take upwards of ten minutes preparation time. Nonetheless, well worth the wait and friendly staff that aren't opposed to chatting while making...
