Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Gardendale — Restaurant in Gardendale

The Mediterranean restaurant, “Taziki’s,” Gardendale location…DEFINITELY earns ALL 5-⭐️‘s IN MY BOOK—- ~CLEAN ~FRESH FOOD ALWAYS ~W/in decent driving time/locale ~ALWAYS CORRECT ON MY ORDERS ~ALWAYS a sweet, young lady waiting the register..

HOWEVER - I HAVE 1 SINGLE ‘CON’ when it comes to the pros & cons….. 2 this specific location….

My hubby goes on a Sun. AGAIN AS USUAL, 2 pick up our ‘weekend signature pasta salad/s & when he arrived home? I was SURPRISED! I hold this particular Taziki’s location very hard because when my husband comes home with our to go plates… Boxes… They’re literally so heavy that you need to use both hands! However, when I open today’s box there was not only half of and I do mean literally HALF Of what is usually in the to go box I looked inside and there wasn’t even any white cheese on the top you know I think it’s FETA CHZ. maybe However, There was none on it and of course I make a phone call… And God love Sarah who works there… Manager or close to it… She fixed everything I’m not saying that she hated me free food left and right but she and I worked out a perfect agreement AS A PROFESSIONAL-WHICH?- leaves me satisfied and coming back every weekend and that’s the attitude one should have with everyone… My point is these people will work with you if they mishap any plate that you may order..,

So… 5 ⭐️‘s ACROSS THE BOARD, With Sarah fixing the issue… She was very sweet kind calm understanding helpful and every other prof. word above! I love this restaurant I literally crave their food every week therefore why we visit every single weekend at least… I couldn’t recommend this restaurant/cafeteria to anyone any stronger then I do today!!!!!!

On Saturdays and Sundays it seems that Taziki’s has a dish..which is referred as the- “signature pasta,” which is pasta over light Romain lettuce and chunks of chicken served chilled, of course, being it IS a ‘Mediterranean’ eatery… I HIGHLY recommend this to any & all people who have not at least tried this restaurant… I called with myself over & over about trying their food because it was out in left field for me… I’m a huge Italian food-lover, in blood.. as Well as the food…so this IS definitely something yummy & different & DEFINITELY deserves at least you’re one time try… YOU WILL LOVE IT! IM A VRY PICKY EATER…so you can take my opinion as creditable….bon appétit!!!!!!!👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

I am absolutely mystified at how this particular Tazikis could possibly have a 4.5, any good reviews, or even still be in business. After a drs appointment in the are, I stopped by for a curbside order. I checked in at 2:40, for my 2:45 order. I watched numerous customers come and go and even a couple sit down, after I arrive, order their food and receive, all while I still waited. Once,I see what appears to be cooks exiting the back of therestaurant, I decided to call the store. I was put on hold. 9 minutes later. Still holding on the phone and still, no food. I finally flagged down a worker who was delivering food and asked her to check my order. She brought me a $10 off coupon, gave me some story about switching shifts, (though I had been here over 15 minutes BEFORE I ever watched the cooks exit and told me they were working on it). I asked for the Manager. The manager came out with the same story. She said maybe the other customers only had something pre-made and easy, chicken roll ups, etc. Ironically enough, that's exactly what I had. I finally received my food. At 3:21. I'm not sure what the issue or break down here was,but this is completely unacceptable. Please train your employeebetter. I've never had this happen, at my normal Trussville location and who even knows if I can use the measly coupon there. As a restaurant manager myself, I expect more. Do...

GREAT EXPERIENCE...Lots of hustle and bustle at this Greek taverna in the heart of Gardendale Alabama.Your food and drink order are made at a que,then you find a table and your oder is promptly delivered.The staff is warm friendly and efficent.Therre is a charming patio for alfresco dining which makes this a compelling must visit spot, especially for a sunny late spring lunch. THE FOOD Plentiful portions with all items tasting great.Try the lamb Greek feast.which consisted of salad greens topped with 3 medallions of lamb accompanied by a really good lemon olive oil dressing.We requested that our pita be put on the grill brushed with olive oil and left there for 30 seconds or so.This method brings out the taste of the pita and makes everything taste more authentically Greek.We would have liked to have been in Skiathos,Ios, Santorini, or Corfu but this was a nice interlude.Stream the movie "Shirley Valentine" and pretend you are on a fabulous Greek island even though you are in the heart...
