This Wendy’s is absolutely awful!! I do NOT recommend you go here!! The headset that they were using when we went through drive-thru, was broken. So the guy couldn’t hear us. So we spoke louder and said TWO large spicy chicken sandwich combos. And a large root beer. And chili cheese fries. The guy said okay, pull up to the second window please. So we proceeded to do so. When we got up there. Another male told us our total, so we handed him a card. He swiped it but didn’t give it back until he handed us our meals. Or what we thought was OUR meals. He finally finished getting our order ready and then handed us the bag and said have a nice night. But when I felt the bag, it felt way too light. So my boyfriend asked me as we were pulling out, to check if we got everything. So I proceeded to do so. There was only one meal. My meal. So then I told him to park and I will go in. So he did. I went in. Told the guy what happened. And he tried to flip it and say we only said one sandwich combo and so I proceeded to tell him ‘no, we didnt’. So he walked over to the computer near the drive-thru, looked up our order, and printed out our receipt. On the receipt, it really said only one sandwich combo with the chilli cheese fries. So then I proceeded to tell the guy that the gentleman who was talking through the headset, said he could barely hear us, then I told him that, that could have been the reason. So he said “yeah, well I can charge you for the other sandwich if you want?”. So then I got angry because, it was mostly on them. They should have had better headsets. So now I had to pay for a second meal that we should have gotten the first time around. At that point I should have gotten the meal for free because my boyfriend and I, are NOT responsible for...
Read moreI've only been here a few times, but I'll share my experiences. We ordered the chili from here twice, both times we weren't as happy with it as we have been from other Wendy's. Rather than having a nice balance of both beans & meat, we noticed that this chili was full of meat, like actually way too much of it & very large chunks. They also aren't the best with accuracy. I had a large order recently & it wasn't until we were driving away from drive thru that we noticed they forgot the frostee's we had ordered, one vanilla & one chocolate. They did get the rest of the order correct though. Employees were pretty friendly. Not the quickest either though. Drive thru always seems very busy & line does take a bit to get through. When we turned around & went back the day they forgot our frostee's, my fiance went inside for them, because we didn't feel like waiting in drive thru AGAIN for something we already paid for that they forgot, and upon explaining that they had missed items from our order, they did not offer an apology for this inconvenience when making our forgotten frostee's. Could use some improvement, but overall not bad, except the chili definitely needs less beef & more beans & they should apologize for their mistakes, regardless of what they are. Making customer's happy should be part of their job & great service will have people coming back to your establishment. People make mistakes, I understand, but an apology can't hurt. It's especially inconvenient when a customer sits waiting in drive thru for several minutes with little ones in the car, getting impatient then having to actually go back again because of...
Read moreYesterday on Wednesday, April 27th around 8:35 PM, we had a very rude interaction at the Wendy’s in Gardner, MA involving an employee who was an older woman named Kerry or Carrie. We went around through the drive through, and was greeted a bit coldly. We said we had a mobile order, and this older woman Kerry yells out, “FOR???”. Quite literally yells, and it wasn’t an issue with the headset because she still said it with such attitude, her volume aside. It just sounded so rude me and my husband literally looked at each other, baffled and said nothing for a second before saying the name. Kerry or Carrie then says “Go up front” rudely after receiving our order. When we arrived, she had our drinks ready and sitting on the window, before glaring at us and turning her back to talk to a taller blonde young man. She spotted us, and it seemed like she purposefully didn’t want to give us our drinks. After standing and taking a few more orders, she finally opened the window and decided to give us our drinks in pure silence. Not a word was said from her, which came off really rude too. A super nice young lady gave us our food, and we thanked her. We asked for the older lady’s name, and the young girl said “Hailey?” But I think she mistook it as asking for her name. My husband pointed to the older lady and said, “No, her name” and she said “Carrie”. Again, not sure if it’s spelled Kerry. Seeing the reviews at this location, I’d stay away as the employees are all reported of having attitude problems and...
