Firehouse Subs Firewheel — Restaurant in Garland

I have been going to this firehouse subs location since it opened and has always ordered a medium sandwich. Today my grandson and I came in for lunch and I ordered him a kid combo and I ordered my usual medium, turkey bacon ranch on wheat w/mushrooms for dine in. When I receive our meals, my sandwich was a small and I informed the young lady that brought it out that it wasn't a medium and indicated with hand gesture to show her the sizes of the sandwich sizes I had previously received from this location. However, she still insisted it was the right size. Said okay but still was not satisfied because it wasn't right. After preparing my grandson food, I went to counter to ask if they were positive they gave me correct size sandwich. She showed me two sizes of buns. The size I had and the medium size which she said was the large. I knew I wasn't going to be told the truth at this point because I was too persistent about it being wrong. I am diabetic and hadn't eaten so I ate my "medium"sandwich and then left because I would just right write a review. I know it wasn't a medium because I always have half of it left (which I didn't today)and a large one I get three pieces out if it. Thanks for listening. I will never go here nor refer anyone to this location, I submitted and order through uber eats and I called to confirm they received the order , the gentlemen told me they had not but that he could take my order over the phone then he pass me to a lady that claimed to be the owner, she did nothing to help resolve the issue she stated my order did not come through and that she could not take my order and she blame uber eats system she stated it was there fault, I ask her so what can you do for me she said nothing I was shocked she was rude and hung up the phone on me, I WILL NEVER AGAIN ORDER AT THIS PLACE! and funny thing was I re order at the firehouse in mesquite and they had no problem with my order through the uber eats system, the owner was full of it , this clearly was an issue on there end NOT UBER EATS!! !!! I would advise them to close earlier than their scheduled time if the service is going to be disappointing as it was tonight. I received my meal - although I stated that I wanted it to be for dining in they provided it to me in a “TO GO” bag, which I felt unwelcome about. the bag provided was soiled with dressing that it was unpleasant to handle. I requested a basket to place sub in and enjoy it as i originally expected to but they informed me that they did not have any available. The sandwich was overly dressed with peppercorn ranch dressing, making it so soggy (wish I took a photo to attach) Overall, it was an unpleasant visit, and I found the service to be both rude and disgusting.
