Taqueria Diana — Restaurant in Garland

Taqueria Diana & Taqueria Evelyn & Ofito serve decent food but fall short in consistency. The tacos have good flavor, especially the al pastor, but some meats come out dry or overcooked. Portions are fair for the price, and the salsa has a nice kick.

Service is friendly but slow during busy hours. Orders sometimes come out missing items or with mix-ups. The place stays clean but could use better seating and lighting.

Drinks and sides are solid, especially the horchata and grilled onions. The atmosphere feels local and relaxed, but the quality varies too much between visits.

It’s a convenient stop for a quick bite, but not a place you go out of your way...

I have ordered here several times. I work for a roofing company and the guys love these tacos! They are delicious and VERY affordable. They do not skimp on the meat either. I do not know Spanish, but we find a way to communicate. Always very friendly! All the locations are inside of another location and the outside is not marked "Taqueria Diana". I also learned Garland has 2 locations, one on 1st Street and one on Walnut, both delicious. I just found out they have a Sachse location as well, I am anxious to try this location. The breakfast Desayuno tacos are amazing! All of the food is homemade and prepared as you watch. I've only tried the breakfast tacos, but this is my go-to place now. If you want good breakfast tacos with flower tortillas, order the Taco De Harina De Desayuno. You can get it with bacon, potatoes, or chorizo.
