Bill & Steven are wonderful and have been working at the Garner BJ's location for many years, probably as long as we've lived in the area. Bill always has something nice to say to someone that’ll brighten your day. They're both extremely friendly and fast when checking receipts and getting you out the door. And they've both worked through the pandemic. They are the best!
The store itself could use some overall updating. Signage in some places is worn, display cases could be freshened up and the lottery ticket kiosks on the way out are a little dirty looking. I always use self checkout and I’ve come to expect problems with the dated machines. For instance today they had a major freezer issue. The floor can be pretty empty some hours of the day so it can be hard to find someone to ask assistance from.

Read moreI give this BJs a four because how you can walk through the isles without any problems it’s peaceful and clean not a lot of people but like everyone else is saying the customer service is going down ! At least Costco has people at the cash registers to help you this place wants you to do everything yourself ! People are getting old and can not do those self registers ! Most of all I tell everyone that goes to this place lately you better be watching the people that check you out they will charge you two or three times for something we had a lady charge us twice for something we had to tell her take it off ! She was a bit rude about it not very friendly ! This place use to be good but service is going down ! And those folks that go around like Vultures trying to get you to change your phone service. They need to have a table for them to sit down at like at Costco and if you want to change your service. You can go over and talk to them yourself not them following you all around the store asking you about your phone service! If you buy bread from there you better eat it right away because it will turn...
