GameStop — Local services in Garner

Today was the release of the new pokemon illustration card promo cards that were release on all Gamestop, BestBuy, and other stores and online. The promos are very popular since are unique and after today almost imposable to get. The store employees at this location were most annoying people to talk to. They insisted the release was Feb 27th which if they looked online and called other stores they will see it was wrong. I even advice him to check and told him about other places and online but wont even listen even showed the ads but they wont even look. They were other girl lazy around the computer giving attitude cause was asking them to check since I knew 100% I was right, def didnt wanted to work or do their job.

They called their DM (not sure if true) and didnt even pass forward all the information I gave them. They either dont know how to think for themselves or they hoarding the cards to sell later time.

They even said had so many people asking for them same but they were not very bright about it. Specially acting like they knew more even with all the evidence.

If you had so many people asking for the same think would be smart thing to double check your notes, hell you can even call other stores but guess that is too much work. The store was empty so they had the time.

Thankfully went to other two stores was able to get purshase and get two promo packs for me and kid. The other owner was so surprised even tho they talk to...

good selection of older console generation games (360, ps3, wii, ds) for a gamestop, but the rudest worker i have ever seen.

the man named isaac who works here is judgemental and rude, commenting on your choice of games as well as telling you why whatever upcoming releases you're excited about are going to suck. walked up to me and my wife unprompted to tell us that the upcoming switch release of megaman battle network was because "the switch is hemorraging money" and they're "releasing whatever they can to save it." not something you want to be told about a game you're excited about, especially by someone you don't know and were clearly not talking to.

additionally when we came up to the counter to pay for our games, instead of asking if we wanted to add the gamestop protection plan for the preowned copies, he added it to our total without asking and expected us to pay it. at this point i was so uncomfortable with the store i just wanted to buy my games and leave, so i paid it.

Always a great place to go shopping if you like video games. The games are fairly priced compared to the digital downloads most people get for their system, the staff is very knowledgable about most of the systems/games they sell. That is especially helpful for those who dont play games but want to buy a gift for someone who does. You can just tell the employees a little bit about what your intended gift recipient's interests and they will be more than happy to advise you on good options. Gamestop also deals in the hard to find games and accessories because people trade or sell their used stuff everyday. The best part is they have a great return policy, 7 days for games and you can bring em back and get a different game to try....
