Plant Slant Juice — Restaurant in Garner

Before my multiple strokes I was making over 120,000 a year as a DOD contractor. I'm homeless right now along with my wife. However, we had a 100 bill and decided to give Plant Slant juice a try for the first time ever because she wanted a smoothie. I paid with my 100. I counted out my change and was 20 bucks short. I asked the girl at the counter, who was very polite and professional, how much the smoothie was since I was short a 20. She told me and I said to her I think you stiffed me a 20. Because unless two smoothies for me and my wife were 34 bucks I'm missing 20.

As she's counting her drawer to confirm the missing 20 owed to me the owner says quite loudly without a modicum of discretion: "Are you sure? 'Those' people like to play that game to steal money."

She confirmed that indeed she had not given me the correct change as her drawer was over by 20 bucks.

Owner? Guess what? We 'people' aren't all drug addicted or dipsomaniacs. Some of us are here because that's what God wants for now for His own purposes. I would've been a regular customer what with your point system that would offset your high prices. Keep in mind that the smoothie myself and my wife bought were no better than what Lowes frozen fruits in a blender would yield me.

But we would've dealt with it and formed a friendship like we have with Lowes, Tobacco and Vape, Cappolas, the Dollar Store, and Planet Fitness where we are regular customers and know the employees.

We may be homeless right now. But you're classless and unprofessional. Watch your tongue because in this case it cost you two customers and perhaps some more after they read...

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT Place ‼️ Michael the owner (which is also a dietitian) took the time out of his busy day, for a customer (me), which was undecided on what to get, And help give me a couple pointers, on what, and how to eat to stay on my diet and staying healthy over-all‼️ NO-WHERE ELSE have I ever had someone help me explain, and write ✍🏼 down, ways to help me on my diet‼️ Their juices are VERY, VERY, Good, nothing processed, nothing added! Just straight fruit, and vegetables (depending on the juice you decide). My favorite (POWER-HOUSE), very healthy, and naturally sweet, and most importantly no added sugar! And their food! OMG! Awesome Salsa... Literally! (If that’s what you decide to get) their food is very good, and very healthy, which tells you the exact calorie count on the menu, so you know exactly how many calories you’re taking in, so you can keep count Their more than just a business, it’s a company that...

I am so excited to see a healthy option available in Garner. We don't really have a good option for a fresh juice/smoothie bowl place locally. Tropical smoothie cafe moved in, but I find their smoothies to be way too sweet and contain too much ice to fruit.

My husband, son and I grabbed some smoothies the other day from Plant Slant, and I also ordered an acai bowl. They were very delicious, lots of flavor, everything that you could want from a fresh juice and smoothie joint. The bowl was my absolute favorite and I cannot wait to order more. My husband ordered the acai blast, and I ordered the sunshine. If I was going to order again I would order the acai blast smoothie. But everything was still delicious!

Also, I wish others would report the Daisy Lewis review. It is not actually a review of this location or their product and it's sad to see this new location get a random negative review that is not...
