KFC — Restaurant in Gastonia

Honestly was the worse service. We came in about 40 minutes before closing, stood at the register for 20 minutes waiting for someone to even take our order. The red haired girl was standing “gossiping” with another customer she knew, completely ignoring the fact she had other customers waiting. The poor kid who was off shift trying to leave ended up taking our order before walking out of the restaurant because no one else was. The tea was empty up front (which wasn’t a big deal) so I just AGAIN stood there at the counter to ask if they had tea in the back waiting while the same girl continued to stand and talk and completely ignore me until I sat my cup down on the counter. Finally got our food and it wasn’t correct on one of them (she got thighs not legs) because we were not told they were “out of drumsticks” so I asked to just put a breast on there for her instead. One of the girls jerked the chicken off the plate barehanded and threw it away and then the guy proceeded to put the breast on the plate this chick just touched with her barehands. She had a nasty attitude the rest of the night...over nothing. Anyways it’s about 4 minutes till closing, and all of a sudden it gets dark. They cut all the lights off on us and we sat in darkness trying to eat for probably like 10-13 minutes. And then the same girl walked through after the lights came on again to lock a door and said very snarky “she didn’t know y’all were still here” bet. You can see the whole restaurant from the back of the kitchen. Oh and also cut off the drunk machine and wouldn’t let us get more soda. Good thing no one started choking, cause we would’ve...

This by far is one of the WORST KFC's in the business. They should be GRATEFUL that they're located in a high traffic area in order to make a profit. IT'S JUST CHICKEN... but they say you can tell the quality of a restaurant by the people they hire...and in this case it's clearly evident from the only 3 visits that I've had here that there will never be a 4th and that the requirement for hire is 'must have no personality, no knowledge of customer service, no common etiquette and use of the words 'thank you' and no hope in life'.

Every time that I've visited, its been an experience.....I've experienced sad, solemn service - like the employee hated being there, a wrong order, to which I've had to return to have corrected without any contrition, and as of my last and final visit, an employee who had the nerve to literally throw my food at me at the drive thru window after mistakenly giving me the wrong order. I mentioned the error, handed the bag back to the employee and an unwarranted bad attitude came out of nowhere, complete with no apology or acknowledgement for the oversight, any eye contact... like I was getting on her nerves and no 'thank you'.. (for taking the time to contribute to my paycheck by placing an order today). Literally, I cannot make this up- every visit got worse and went down hill from the last visit. And the final insult to it all, I noticed I STILL got an incorrect order when I got home.

HOW DO YOU GET CHICKEN WRONG AT A RESTAURANT THAT SERVES CHICKEN?!?

Picked Up The New Chicken Livers And Cole Slaw A Few Hours Ago, The Livers Were Hard I Should Have Looked Before We Left The Restaurant, But I Didn't! When I Did Peep In Box I Was Almost $11.00 Disappointed! A Uturn And Back To KFC In The Drive Thru To Explain My Problem, Apparently It's The Cook, Yelling Out That "All The Livers Were Cooked At The Same And The Livers I Had Were Not Hard! We Continued To The Line At The Window Were We Could See This Young Man He Continues To Say That All The Livers Were Cooked At The Same Time! I Surmise If That's Was The Case, All The Livers In The Restaurant Were Even Harder Than The Ones That I Had In My Box! He Offered Me Livers That Were Even Harder, Something Else Or My Money Back, I Decided Upon The Latter, Got My Refund And We Drove Out! I Don't Think That's Good Customer Service, Now I Also Don't Believe That You Should Cook A Huge Amount Of Livers And Without Knowing How Many Customers Who Will Be Coming By To Order Them Pre and I Also Didn't Like That Young Man's Attitude! No Customers Are Not Always Right Yet,At Least Listen Before You Make A Decisionin! In This Case I Wasn't Going To Eat Anything In That Place Because Of His Behavior! If I Want Chicken Livers I'll Continue To Go To The Belmont KFC, Where The Delivers Are Always Fresh And Soft And If By Chance There Is A Day That You're Livers Are A Little Too Crunchy, Be Kind They'll Always Cook Another bunch That is good customer service That is the reason why people have Been going to the Belmont KFC For...
