My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Texas Roadhouse after returning from a long-awaited vacation, and let me tell you, it was a meal that exceeded all expectations. We hadn't been to a Texas Roadhouse in years, but we were instantly reminded of why it was always a favorite of ours.
From the moment we entered, the warm and inviting atmosphere at Texas Roadhouse made us feel right at home. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and treated us like old friends. It was evident that they truly cared about providing a memorable dining experience.
Being a couple who loves steakhouses, we were thrilled to see the menu filled with mouthwatering options. We decided to start our meal with the famous Cactus Blossom appetizer, and wow, it was a flavor explosion! The crispy, golden-fried onion petals paired perfectly with the tangy dipping sauce, and we knew we were in for a treat.
For our main course, we both opted for their signature steaks. My partner ordered the mouthwatering Ribeye, cooked to perfection with a beautiful sear and juicy, tender center. As a fan of spice, I couldn't resist trying their Firecracker Chicken, which truly lived up to its name. The perfectly grilled chicken smothered in a fiery sauce was a taste sensation that left me wanting more with each bite.
The sides at Texas Roadhouse are not to be overlooked, as they are equally delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We indulged in the loaded mashed potatoes, which were rich and creamy, topped with cheese, bacon, and green onions. The buttery rolls, warm from the oven, were melt-in-your-mouth heavenly and impossible to resist.
To complement our meal, we ordered a couple of their handcrafted cocktails. My partner sipped on a refreshing Margarita, while I opted for the tangy and sweet Roadhouse Tea. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the flavors perfectly balanced, elevating our dining experience even further.
What truly made our visit to Texas Roadhouse memorable was the attentive and friendly service. Our server went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and checked on us regularly without ever feeling intrusive. It was evident that the entire staff was dedicated to providing exceptional service to each and every guest.
As we finished our last bites and soaked in the vibrant energy of the restaurant, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the incredible dining experience. Texas Roadhouse had not only met but surpassed our expectations after all these years.

Read moreMy family and I came on a busy night, so we tried to keep that in mind, and it has also been 6 days since our visit. I waited this long so I would not give a review out of an immediate reaction. I had originally decided to not leave a review but the longer I thought about the events of the night, I felt I needed to leave a review.
We were seated in the time the hostess said we would be. We waited about 35 minutes, which was expected from the beginning due to the amount of people at the restaurant.
Our waitress from the beginning was nice and attentive. We received our appetizers in a reasonable amount of time, and they were excellent. Then...
Our main food came out and our waitress dropped one of the plates of food off the tray onto my lap and my son’s lap. There was food for five people on this tray so one dish was not a big deal. The problem we had was the waitress telling us to "scoop the food into the floor" so she could just sweep it up later. Never once did she or the manager on duty offer to clean or help clean up the food from our booth. We cleaned up all the food with no help from the staff. I had to go to the restroom to clean food off my legs after we, the customers, cleaned up the mess by scooping it into the floor. The food remained under our feet for the entirety of the meal.
Two in our party ordered steak, one medium and one medium well. Once the food, that we cleaned up, was away... they served the rest of the food. The two steaks we were served were medium rare. We sent the two steaks back and the re-cook gave us two medium steaks... still not the temp we asked for one of the steaks, but at this point we were pretty much done with our dining experience and just sucked it up and ate.
We also, at the beginning of the ordering process, told the server we wanted a grilled salmon salad to go. I had to remind her of this order after I paid our $150+ bill and left a 20% tip. It took 10 minutes to get this item. So my impression is that she completely forgot about this item.
We tried to be sympathetic to the situation at the time, but we do not feel the service at this location was worth the time and money we spent.
No customer of any business should be asked to "scoop" food in the floor and be expected to enjoy their experience. I do not fault the waitress for dropping the food. I fault the service afterwards. We did not ask for, nor received, a comp on any of the food. The thought of making our dining experience "right" was not given to us.
The chances of us visiting a location for this restaurant...
Read moreTexas Roadhouse is my favorite restaurant to go to and is my comfort food. Tonight I ordered Togo for me and my fiancé and I am highly disappointed in the experience. I placed my order at 5:22 pm and the app said it would be ready by 5:49. I arrived and was in a Togo spot and I followed the directions of responding to the text and I waited. While I waited I noticed 1 guy going back and forth between 4 cars at the time and it looked like he was the only one working. I have worked in a restaurant for 6 years and understand when things are busy that it will take longer than expected. What was frustrating was that he went to every car and spoke to the new cars pulling in and brought out their food and continued to do so when he never came up to mine. After 25 minutes of letting it go thinking he was going to get to me next I called the restaurant to see if I needed to come inside and pick it up or just wait. I was on the phone for 6 minutes with no answer so I hung up the phone. I waiting 10 more minutes and at the point I was done waiting. I got out of my car and then proceeded to stand in a line at the Togo window and when it was finally my turn I gave my name. When the guy came out I asked him that if I was supposed to stay In my car and wait or what I was supposed to d. He told me when they are fully staffed that yes I stay in my car. I told him I just wanted to know for next time because I had sat in my car waiting for about 40 minutes. He told me he was sorry and I left. I arrive home and open my order and I have what looks like 4 soufflé cups of scooped butter with cinnamon sprinkled on top which is not the normal cinnamon butter they give. I understand when product runs out but it would have been nice to have been informed prior to me driving home and finding out. Again I am extremely disappointed and it really makes me never want to order Togo ever again let alone eat at...
