Dear Honey Baked Ham Company ,

I wanted to take a moment to commend David (I believe that is his name), who worked on the front end during my visit on 1/29/2025. His service was truly outstanding and exemplifies what excellent customer service should be. He was patient, compassionate, and took the time to offer thoughtful menu suggestions. His professionalism was a key factor in creating a memorable experience.

I arrived close to closing time, around 5:36 PM, and I was still undecided between several options from the eateries in the area. David never once rushed me or made me feel like a burden. I noticed that they were beginning to clean, and I apologized for the late hour. David remained calm, friendly, and accommodating, which made me feel very comfortable.

Additionally, his coworker, who was handling the back end, did an excellent job preparing the menu option David suggested. The whole team clearly worked seamlessly together to deliver a fantastic experience.

This was my first time at the Honey Baked Ham Company and I was not held to the expectations recommended to me. The food seemed a little pricy which I was okay with until I saw the portion size of my sandwich being much smaller than imagined. The food was not as fresh as hoped, luke warm in temperature, and the flavor of honey seem to be the only taste. My vegetarian friend asked for just a bun with cheese with nothing else and was charged $6.50 for it and then we had to send it back due to containing unwanted condiments. Mistakes happen I understand and was grateful they fixed it. However, the staff did not make any impression to us in sense of courtesy. They appeared agitated rather than apologetic to the misunderstanding. They took the sandwich to be fixed without saying a word which came across as negative to us. This is a nice location and was very organized on Saturday as the peak pick up Season was underway. I found the prices " shocking" as it's been a while since we have purchased a Ham from" Honey Baked ". We paid $92.00 for a 9.5lb ham. But we were disappointed once we got home as our ham has a large amount of fat along the top layer and the spices or" Seasoning" seem to have changed slightly from what I remember. If I could I would ask for a refund as I do not feel the product I received is worth the money I paid for it but we used a $40 gift card and paid cash for the rest.I don't believe we will be ordering one again any time soon as the Ham I bought from Costco last year was amazing extremely lean,moist and had a Pomegranate glaze seemed to be just as good if not better at a fraction of the price.
