After reaching out to Logan steakhouse multiple times they could care less than reaching back out. And I will no longer be going to Logan’s steakhouse ever again.
Dear Logan's Steakhouse,
I am writing to share my experience from our visit today, which was meant to celebrate my daughter's ninth birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
My daughter ordered a 6-ounce sirloin cooked medium with fries and a salad, while my wife and I ordered steak and shrimp combos, expecting our steaks to be cooked medium and medium rare, respectively. We also ordered sides including baked potatoes and Caesar salads. However, the food took an exceptionally long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was not as we ordered. My steak was well done instead of medium, and my daughter’s steak was also well done. My wife received her steak as medium, but her meal was still not what we had requested.
To add to the frustration, I received fries instead of my loaded baked potato, and when I inquired, I was informed that the baked potato had not been sent out. This led to further delays as we waited for our steaks to be cooked again. In total, we waited around 30 to 40 minutes for our corrected orders.
After a long wait, the manager came to our table to deliver our corrected steaks. She asked us to cut into the steaks to ensure they were at the right temperature and apologized for the mix-up. However, she didn’t acknowledge that everyone at our table had already finished eating by that point, and she offered no further corrections or solutions for our experience. There were 5 of us in total.
This oversight, along with the initial delays and errors with our orders, left us feeling unsatisfied, especially on such a special occasion. I hope this feedback helps improve the dining experience for future guests.
During this time, my daughter was left disappointed because the server had mentioned a birthday song, which never happened. She was really looking forward to it, and this was a letdown for her special day. She chose Logan’s because they sang to her mom on her birthday. My daughter turn nine.
After waiting for so long, I ended up taking my meal to-go because I was no longer hungry, and my wife also didn’t eat her steak as she was full from the wait. We spent a total of $167, and although I left a tip for our server, I find it unacceptable to pay full price for such a poorly managed experience.
As someone with over 15 years in the service industry, I understand that mistakes happen. However, the way this situation was handled did not meet expectations, especially given the significance of the occasion.
I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve the dining experience for...
Read moreMy fiance and I went to dinner at this restaurant last night and had the single worst dining experience of our lives. It's no wonder that Texas Roadhouse was able to come in and wipe out most of the Logan restaurants.
It started with getting sat - we waited for a few minute (perfectly fine, nothing wrong with waiting) but when it was our turn to be seated, a waiter came up to greet his friends (who had literally just walked through door) and sat them before us. The hostess look a few moments to realize we were still waiting and then she sat us in the same waiter's section. The waiter was not very attentive during the meal, he spent way to much time flirting with the table behind us or talking with the table of his friends. So it didn't start out well.
I ordered a steak and my fiance ordered a burger. it came out after 20 minutes of waiting. The burger was ordered medium, it came out extremely well done - the patty was dry and hard due to over cooking. The rest of the ingredients were soggy with grease. She ordered a side of chips with the burger and the chips were saturated with oil and tasted like they had been cooked in old/burnt oil.
My steak was the real issue - I ordered medium rare and the burger came out barely seared. When I cut open the steak, it was completely raw on the inside and BARELY anything cooked along the edge. Seeing as we waited 20 minutes, you'd think they could have kept it on the grill for a few minutes longer. They "cooked" it again and it came out almost just as raw. I've had rare steaks before, and this steak wouldn't have even been categorized as rare. And, it was very unevenly cooked as well, one spot was more rare than another spot.
When this was brought to the attention of the manager, she stated that since it's such a big cut of meat (not really), it was harder to cook all the way through. My question - why didn't you butterfly it the first time I sent it back? If you have this problem regularly, why don't you cook the steak longer? She mentioned people wanting their food faster but A) by the time I sent it back twice, she could have cooked it once properly and B) tell customers when they order it that it could take longer to come out because of the "size of the steak" and the customer will understand.
They need to slow down their cooks, lower the heat of grill so they can get an consistent even cook on the meat rather than just char the edges and call it a day.
At the end, the manager did apologize and comp our entire meal - I appreciate both of these gestures but it doesn't make up for the fact that I left the restaurant having even just a couple of rolls because their kitchen staff couldn't figure how to cook a steak - AT A...

I'll clarify I've ate at this restaurant for literal years... Two years ago I even brought my family to celebrate Father's Day. But that is neither here nor now...
Didn't have a long wait even though it was very crowded (by the way that was the only good thing that happened), the waiter took our drink order them immediately forgot what we had even though he seemed to write it down. Followed by him chatting with his big table of customers about stuff like working for Fatz cafe before there and other bs while our chips ran empty while waiting to just order. This was followed by when we did finally place the order with him the three that got salads got those but they had slimy old lettuce pieces inside it. My father took pictures of them. Anyway he kept talking to that table even though they didn't seem to call him back over and he never cleared our table or checked to make sure or drinks had anything in them. When we did finally get while of him for drink refills while we are a bit he forgot again what we had. Then as the ones with salad where ready for the main meal we was left waiting again as he talked more. Then about an hour later he finally came to us and said, "I'm sorry it seems that when I put in your order for food it didn't send, I just resubmitted your order and the Manager is putting a rush on it to get it out to you. It is entirely my fault.". So we had to wait some more though he did finally refill our drinks again and cleared away the finished plates. Later the Manager came out with waiter and helped deliver the food. But there was no words from her not even a hint of an apology to us from her. Instead a little after our food was delivered to the table she talked to the waiter in the view of the customers about something then returned to wherever she was the rest of the time. Later the waiter came with the check and there was nothing discounted or removed for the trouble. We paid it without a fight which the waiter kept the receipt when it was paid as well... My father also took a picture of it as well. If I can talk to the owner or if there is a cooperate I'd gladly give them the pictures and information but it there is a survey your not going to get a good one this time.
On one last note... I'm not likely going to return to this restaurant and advise you don't go there as well. Though of the owner changes my mind then there is a chance I'll edit this review and...
