Waffle House — Restaurant in Gastonia

Me and 3 other friends went to this exact Waffle House and had a horrible experience. We had sat down and gotten our drink orders, but once it came to the food orders, that’s when everything went downhill. Our waitress, I believe her name was princess, she took about 7 minutes on getting our food order correct which we didn’t complain about and it’s nice knowing she wanted us to have a good meal and nothing go wrong. Once she had taken our food order, she complained talking to the cook about “are you ready for this order? Cause I’m not” which made us feel weird. Because we felt our orders wasn’t that big of an issue, and it was also just 4 people in total, including myself. Once the first plate came, my friend was looking over making sure everything was good since it was his plate, but before he could ask for chili since he got his hash browns all the way, our waitress immediately walked off and started saying to the cook, “you better handle this cause I’m really about to beat these kids up” it was something along the lines of this. But that really set us off and really made us feel uncomfortable with the tension between our waitress and us. The cook made sure all of our food was good, and we didn’t have a problem with it. During the meal service, our waitress didn’t check up on us at all and never once asked if we were doing good with our food or if we need any refills. At the end though, she did check up on us and gave us our refills and a waffle we had ordered last minute and also gave us togo boxes. Once we had got up to leave and pay, we saw she was crying so that made us give some sympathy to her so we were still nice after everything. Once we were walking out, my friend said “have a nice day!” And the waitress caught an attitude saying “was that pretentious or are you just being nice?” And we all got confused and looked at our friend and she said “I was just tryna be nice” and the waitress said “oh okay…” and then whispered under her breath saying “cause I really could beat you up right now” and that’s when my friend said something and started arguing, but we still decided to walk out and just leave it at that. We went in the car and decided to just stay there and let the car warm up before we leave. We then saw the waitress come outside and at first, we thought she was gonna come up to the car but she was just on the phone. So we kept looking back and making sure she wasn’t coming up to us, but once we turned around, we saw she was clearly taking a photo of the license plate and that’s when my friend tried to say “excuse me” to get her attention and ask her why she took a photo of the license plate. But the waitress ignored her and so we just decided to leave. Overall, we had no problems with our food, but just simply had a problem against our waitress and making things difficult...

Me and three others went and ate at this waffle house and we had a waitress named Princess, but she was nothing of such. She was the worst server me and my friends ever had to deal with. She threatened to beat us up, mind y’all we are minors and she was at least thirty. Throughout our time there we showed her nothing but respect and kindness despite how bad she was treating and serving us. It took her ten years to get our order right and it wasn’t like it was busy and she was dealing with other customers, at the time we were the only ones there ordering. She started talking crazy to us saying “i’m finna beat these kids up”. She made us uncomfortable and never checked on us or asked us did we need anything, you know as a good server would. Then as we were leaving I told her I hope she has a good rest of her day, nicely. But I guess she thought I was being smart or rude when i didn’t even say it snarky. So then she said it again “Oh i thought i was gone have to beat you up”. So then me and her started going back and forth. But then I remember this is a grown adult and i’m seventeen, so i should just leave. So we left but she came outside behind us, watched walk to the car and then proceeded to follow us and take pictures of the license plates of our car. She was talking with someone on the phone and taking pictures of the license plate, for what? We had the most disrespectful waitress ever, never going to that waffle...

When we got inside, our waitress, Princess, took a long time to take our order of four people. When the order came out, she messed up my order, and when I mentioned it she walked away talking loud enough so we could hear her say something along the lines of “I know they have to be joking with me. I’m about to beat these kids up.” After that, her Coworker served us the rest of our food. Throughout our entire visit, she did not refill our drinks once. She did not come back to give us our receipt, so to pay we had to walk up to the cashier and wait for her to help us. Once we were done, we told her “we hope you have a great rest of your day,” to which Princess started to start more hostile behavior by saying “are you tryna be funny or are you being serious? Cause if you were then I would beat you up.” Mind you, the person she was talking to is a minor. After my group and I walked out, she came out some moments later talking on the phone with someone and then proceeded to take photos of my cars license plate. When we tried to confront her, she ignored us and proceeded to talk on the phone, so we left cause we felt unsafe. So besides being a bad server, she was also very hostile and threatening, and throughout my entire experience I felt...
