Not what it used to be by far. The new girls are RUDE. Zero customer service skills. I saw how the red head at the counter was acting and figured she was having a bad day so I asked how she was, treated me HORRIBLE. She also said I'd be charged a service fee which was strange, never have I ever been charged a fee here for using a card but i disregared it. When I went to wait for my order another lady in line took my cone. 5 other people that were behind me were served AFTER i had ordered. The staff acted confused and treated me like I was stupid when I asked for it to be remade. I've worked in customer service my whole life, you don't treat people like these girls do. Spent countless summers coming here after work and will never again. Also you can't have acrylic or fake nails and be in food service (per ohio state laws) but all of these girls do!! This is a really great place to stop and grab a soft serve or scoop cone. All seating is outdoors making this an ideal roadside stand. We had typical twist soft serve, but they also offer a flavor of the week, which was tangerine this week. They also offer scoops and had at least 20 different kinds. They have sundaes, waffle cones and other ice cream desserts, too, as well as waters and slushies. We thought the prices were pretty good and obviously so did others as the place was very busy. The staff was friendly and service was super fast (it had to be, it was very 🥵 outside). We were camping at Geneva State Park and walked the paved trail from the park which was an easy 1 1/4 miles. A very nice ice cream stand located just outside the Geneva State Park Lodge. It is not on the main strip on Geneva on the Lake, but worth the extra effort. Prices are a little high, but I was pleased with the service and the selection. It is called Whip n Dip as they have a several soft serve discord flavors (whip) and a large selection of hand dipped hard ice cream (dip). The hard ice cream flavors do change based on the season There are several tables located outside.
