Crowing Hen Saloon — Restaurant in Geneva

I stopped in at The Crowing Hen for some food, and I was NOT disappointed. The owners recommended their smash burgers as one of their house favorites, and with good reason! The burger was amazing, and even had the name of the saloon branded into the top of the bun! When I finished the burger, I had some room left in the old tum-tum. The hot dogs were also highly recommended, so I ordered one of those, as well. I'm glad I did. Can you say "deep fried hot dog?"

The environment is very laid back, which is great change of pace from the madness of the strip. Want to be able to hear the people you are talking to? Stop in here. It's a great place to listen to good country music, especially if you think guys like Luke Bryan are complete Bozos....

I ordered 2 sets of wings which was $30. I ordered 4 ranches which ended up being $2 and tax was about $2. I had a to go order, so I only tipped $1. They have me charged as a $6 tip. I clearly put $1.00 and then wrote out my total as $35.16. They charged me $40.16. First time here and will never be back. Watch your receipts and what they are actually charging you. Talking to my bank this week.

Edit: Got a refund for a "mistake" that was made. I get mistakes happen, but was it really a mistake or was it I got caught so let's say it was a mistake. A1 and 6 look nothing alike. $35.16 doesn't look anything like $40.16 and the 1 and 6 aren't even close on the keyboard. Not sure where any logical mistake could have came from this. Honestly I’ve never had better service. I messaged them on Facebook messenger randomly since our call wasn’t going through lmao. They IMMEDIATELY responded and took our order… on Facebook.. Literally within minutes which was SOOOO HELPFUL!! They we’re so funny, personable, etc.. we’ve been to crowing hen quite a few times. They’ve always been so kind, fast, and take care of their customers. Their food is amazing and their drinks always perfect. They will always be a favorite...
