Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Georgetown Charter Township

We used to love ordering from this location. However, it has gone steeply downhill in the past year. The first time, a couple months back, after a LONG wait, my husband was told he could take the 2 pizzas they had ready because they didn't have what we ordered. The next time, I pre-ordered online because I knew we would be tight on time. I set pick up for 4:30 knowing I wouldn't be there until 4:45 and they're generally slow. I arrived to find that my order would not be ready until 5:00. I voiced my frustrations and did not even get an apology. After that experience I happily filled out an honest review I received via email. I then received a 10$ coupon. I tried one last time to give them a chance. I again placed my order early, I ordered at 3pm for a delivery at 4:45. At 5:05 I called the store. After 3 calls that rang and rang someone finally picked up. I explained I was looking for my order and was placed on hold. The guy then informed me I could place a new order because although he had record of my order and my card was charged, they did not know where the food was. He said I could reorder and have it in an hour, no thanks! I asked to be contacted by a manager and to ensure my credit card was credited, as it had already been paid for. Five minutes later, they called saying they found my food, it was in the oven and they could deliver it in 45min.... still, no thanks! They got my order wrong. I ordered cheese sticks, not bread sticks, in the dinner box. The quality of the pizza was poorly made. Very little sauce and cheese. Certainly not spread evenly. On top of all that, it was late for me to pickup. It was clear that the employees wearing costumes for Halloween were both distracting them from their job and also getting in their way. One employee was wearing an electric guitar around their neck walking through the cramped kitchen, hitting things and fellow employees along the way. I wouldn’t even give this place one star if it were an option. They told me they would deliver to my home which is 3 miles away, but since it is new construction and the address doesn’t pull up in their system they told me “Sorry our GM just told us we cannot deliver out of our delivery range durning dinner rush.” I’m sorry your employee just told me that you could. So after wasting 11 minutes of my time, 3 employees later, repeating my order 4 times, and throwing a new employee on the phones on a busy Friday night they basically told me sorry for you but NO PIZZA for you!
