Let me start off by saying my kids and I love sprinkles Donuts mainly the majority of what our family likes is the custard filled long johns! Unfortunately the past 4 times we've gone out of our way to get donuts in the morning 3 of those times they have already been out of them as early as 8:50 in the morning. I tried getting a different kind of donut for my kids and they were unhappy and it ruined my day (spoiled 2and4 year olds they just don't understand what all gone means at a donut shop) LOL they don't seem to like much else there and anything with frosting and sprinkles they'll eat the frosting and sprinkles but leave the whole entire donut but they love the custard-filled which I don't blame them they're absolutely delicious and my favorite donut too. The only thing I'm writing this about though is because someone needs to step up their A game! unfortunately I can't keep coming to the donut shop when they don't have the donuts that we even like because it ends up ruining my whole day with kids screaming that they want donuts cause mommy told them "let's get donuts today!" And honestly I feel like the bad guy in the end crushing their little excited taste buds by having to tell them they are all out of their favorite donuts. Honestly being mom I'm a little crushed too cause now I have to run home and make breakfast thinking i got to skip that morning and keep my clean kitchen clean just a...
Read moreI was specifically looking for a vanilla long john doughnut (among other kinds), and I had tried one other shop first. When that shop didn't have it, I called Sprinkles to verify they had it before I drove there. I asked if they had vanilla long johns, and they said yes, and they have cream inside. I said that was fine but wanted to verify that it was a vanilla doughnut, not chocolate. They assured me that yes, it's vanilla.
I get there, and all I see are chocolate long johns. When I asked in person, they explained that the cream inside is vanilla, but the frosting on top is chocolate. I was frustrated because to me, a vanilla long john means vanilla frosting, whether there is cream inside or not.
A very frustrating experience, and I don't know what else I could have done, since I called ahead before wasting a trip. I get that there was a misunderstanding between and the staff, but a little more effort on the part of the staff to explain on the phone call how the doughnut looked would have been...
Read moreWe come here every once in awhile. It's convenient to our home versus that other place that we love more. That being said, today I became a huge fan of this establishment because of Shaylee. (Sorry if I butchered your name) Her customer service is far above and beyond that of any worker at a bakery. Honestly, better than customer service at most any place I've ever been to. Her ability to create conversation and smile is something very few have anymore in customer service. If she ever moves on to other ventures, I'd steal her in a heartbeat for sales. I hope management knows what they have here. While the other staff is always fine, nothing special, nothing bad. This girl does more than just go through the motions. I will continue to stop here (sorry, that OTHER place I love too) but will frequent here even more and support Sprinkles because they have someone who makes other customers feel great. I'd also like to note, I continued to listen to her deal with other customers and she is...
