I will say for the record that this was the first Chik Fil A that I have had an issue with. Every other Chik Fil A in central ky has been top notch and my family eats them all the time. The one in Georgetown this evening paid zero regard to request based on my allergy (gluten/wheat). The cashier did not know what to do with an allergy (she was new, no big deal at all) so I asked her to get a manager to come over. She did. Manager came over and said "oh it's no problem, we use tongs, most of the time we don't even need to change gloves." I said that I would really appreciate it if they would change gloves when they made it and also bag it separately. She said "OK, I guess we can do that if you want us to."
Anyone with an allergy knows where this is going. Other manager bring us the bag and my daughters food (breaded nuggets) is in with mine. That manager proceeds to tell me "well noone told me, what do you want me to do about it?" I asked to have a new one bagged separately. She goes to window to kitchen, they throw her new food instantly and she puts it in a bag and says "here ya go". So I asked how she had all that food ready considering they were supposed to change their gloves and she said "oh, we have grilled nugs back there all the time and fries waiting, they don't even touch them with their hands" of which there is zero chance she knew that they didn't. Not a single offer of anything to be kind for my trouble (a free drink maybe? An extra anything? A gift card?) and the fact they could have made me very ill. If they'd have been legitimately apologetic instead of argumentative or even offered something small as kindness I'd have been ok frankly. But instead they argued with me about it and made my experience terrible.
Bottom line (and I'll be posting this on Find Me GF as well) is that THIS particular Chik Fil A does NOT have concern for anything besides their own opinion on what is safe for someone...
Read moreI’m not the type of person to leave reviews unless it’s beyond superior or extremely bad service. Today was extremely bad. A little backstory… our daughters school had a fundraiser so naturally we supported it. Our daughter gets sick and we didn’t know her vouchers were in her take home folder which was at school. She returns to school the day after the fundraiser ended 3/17. We had to pick up the food we paid for on 3/16. My husband called and spoke with the manager on duty at 5:17pm on 3/17. We explained why we couldn’t pick up the food on the day we should have and they told us they we honor the vouchers but needed some time to get the food ready. We asked if it would be okay to pick up the food today 3/18. They said yes and we have a time we would be there so it was ready. We arrive and the manager on duty, Jenny, told us no that the pick up day had passed. We explained the above and she said she would look into. She returned to our vehicle with just the brownies and said she would not be giving us the chicken nuggets. We told her she could easily contact the manager that we spoke to to verify. We also said we didn’t want just the brownies. We were to get everything we paid for and she proceeded to tell us with attitude that she was not going to honor the vouchers. Jenny then went back to do whatever and came back with all the food. She never apologized and continued to have attitude while giving us the food. She treated us as if our intentions were to show up and have a massive argument with anyone there. If we were told the night before that they would not have honored the vouchers we would have just taken it as a loss since our daughters school still earned the money. So this review is based on the customer service we received today by Jenny. If our kids didn’t love this place, we’d likely never eat at this...
Read moreI got free chick-Fil-A free for one year before. I camped out in front of the building while in high school & they rewarded us w/ free food. I ate there everyday they were open. It was awesome they never ever messed up a meal not once for the whole year. Trust me I started getting creative with it. I would like to say I’ve never had a meal that was incorrect since that 1 year 14 years ago until 2022 which who can blame them but no matter what they usually take care of the problem. How many times at other restaurants have you just known the chances of soggy fries has a 50/50 chance. I think we as consumers hold Chick-fil-A to a higher standard but gotta remember that sometimes the food has just been setting there too long but your chances of getting soggy fries is least likely at Chick-fil-A than any other business.
This place is solid if your comparing it to Nearby restaurants there is no reason to buy a spicy chicken sandwich at Panera bread. I can guarantee you that jt tastes rubbery & microwaved in some plastic container & topped with rubber plastic lettuce - that’s the best I could come up with bc I know they just microwave them sometimes. It was as bad but my mind was telling Me I wasn’t eating food. Lemonade - can’t compare to Panera two totally different things. Chick-fil-A lemonade is way better & real tasting I wish Chick-fil-A would bring back the lemonade watermelon mint stuff that was truly the first time I found out what addiction was. It was the watermelon mint lemonade. If there is some kind of secret menu level I need to unlock please let me know bc i will simply go get a new credit card and go into debt for...
