I’ve been a loyal McDonald’s customer for years, but tonight’s experience finally pushed me to write a review. First, I noticed that they upcharge drinks on the kids’ meals without any prior notice, adding $1 per meal for what I assume is just a small drink that likely only costs $1 to begin with. This unannounced charge feels unfair and misleading, especially in a family-friendly setting where the pricing for kids’ meals should be clear and straightforward.
But what really frustrated me was the way they handled the toys. My kids were excited about the seasonal toy being advertised everywhere: on the large drive-up menu, online, on TV commercials, and across social media. It even says on the receipt that we were to get that specific toy! After ordering, we discovered that they didn’t even have the toy in stock! And the worst part? The staff didn’t even mention this until I’d paid and was being handed the happy meals. When I expressed my disappointment, I was met with a casual “Yeah, we’re out” response, with no apology or acknowledgment of how misleading the advertising had been.
It’s disappointing to feel shortchanged, both in unexpected charges and in not getting the experience we were promised. The lack of communication and casual approach to customer service left a lot to be desired. Not a great experience at...
Read moreI stopped at this McDonald's to get a bite to eat before I made my way to the river.having ordered a Big Mac meal combo.. which was just what I needed. Was hot and delicious. what I liked about it was that it was just off of highway I-35 and about 3 blocks from the San Gabriel River. I really enjoyed being able to hear the t.v. and listen to the music they had playing while I waited on my order.my combo was done in about 5 minutes and the employees were really polite and helpful when I asked how I can receive points on the McDonald's app afterwards. It had three different seating areas within and another spacious patio dining area outside,if you prefered.the business was very clean, including the restrooms and parking lot. it is wheelchair accessible but there is no smoking, nor vaping either inside nor on the patio.it does have a drive-thru if your on the go with plenty of parking space. if you preferred to dine-in. the prices here are always reasonable and I was extremely satisfied with the service.upon my return to Georgetown I will definitely be...
Read more10/9/25 9:15 pm. I’m not the type to complain but this isn’t the first time this has happened already but the girl who’s always at the second window is always rude. She’s always got this attitude like she’s being force to be there. All the time she’s rolling her eyes, being aggressive when handing things, making you think that you’re stupid when is not the case. it’s never that deep like you’re there to make money you’re being paid to be there, you chose this job, if you don’t like your job just quit it’s literally not that hard. I asked her twice already for condiments and she says they are out then I proceed twice already to place a curbside order for them and they bring them to me?? Just because she doesn’t simply want to give them to me she says they are out. It doesn’t affect you or ur paycheck to just simply be nice to ur customers and give them what they paid for. She needs to be taken care of because it’s not good to treat your...
