We bought a wonderful mattress from Austin and Jessie recently. We had just moved here from out of state and went to Mattress Gallery Direct based on the high ratings and knowing they were veterans. They are sincere, professional, and honorable, just as you would expect. What we didn’t expect was the level of kindness, warmth and humor that we found there. They made us feel like family; a family that sincerely cared about us. It was clear from the moment we entered the store that they wanted to make sure we bought the best mattress for our specific needs and treated the purchase seriously as they knew it was a large investment and an item in our home that we would be spending a lot of our time. It was clear that they recognized that the decision of choosing a mattress wasn’t a light one. After our purchase, they communicated every step of the way during the very few weeks following before we received our delivery and afterwards to make sure we were happy. We never felt forgotten of insignificant. This was refreshing since being a “number” ( especially after paying) is what we found is “the norm” during our experiences of reestablishing a new home. Austin and Jesse have integrity and are true gentlemen. What a pleasure it was doing business with them. We wished that we had more mattresses to buy but unfortunately for them, they did their job so well that we won’t need a new mattress anytime in the near future. Oh, by the way, the mattress they guided us to is simply the best one we have ever owned. We came in with specific ideas. We are thrilled that they listened carefully to us and took the time to show us all options and introduced us to new ideas and allowed us a “no- pressure experience” to make our selection. They are clearly well studied and have real expertise on this subject matter. To own a mattress that absolutely delivers in quality, comfort, and provides consistent sound sleep is a blessing to us. Don’t do what we have done so many times in the past and buy a mattress in a furniture store as an “add on” and from a salesperson who does not specialize in beds. My wife decided we needed a new mattress (actually, we did need a new mattress). She had selected two places to start the search. The first place was the store that offers the adjustable, air mattresses. After waiting over 10 minutes for the sole salesperson, we decided to go to the other place and maybe come back. I'm glad we did, and we didn't go back.

We received a friendly greeting by Logan. Then the process began immediately (in a good way). When you think about it, buying a mattress is a big deal. It will become your best friend for a minimum of the next 10 years, probably longer.

My wife and I are both retired military so the topic of veterans and military service popped up. The owners are veterans. We talked with Austin the most who was a combat medic; I'm pretty sure they both were and served together in conflict. Logan, the sales guy, stood by patiently, while Austin and I talked, waiting to show us the next mattress.

You know what? Serving one's country and facing danger is a meritorious thing, but we were there to buy a mattress and they were there to help us. I really enjoyed talking military stuff with Austin and he really knows the mattress business; best of both worlds for me.

With Logan's help, we came to a decision. The process of paperwork, delivery date, payment, went smoothly. In fact, we were surprised how soon the mattress could be delivered.

The delivery process was great. I wasn't home at the time, but the guys set-up everything to my wife's liking and hauled off all the old stuff. By the way, the "old stuff" isn't just tossed in a landfill. If possible, the old mattress can be cleaned and refurbished and offered to less fortunate.

The people and the service are so nice and helpful. Austin was wonderful to work with. He will make sure that you go home with the bed and pillows that you need. Even when we thought we knew which mattress we wanted, he still had us test all the rest that matched our criteria just so we could make sure it was indeed the winner or in case we liked something more. Same goes for our pillows. They want to make sure that you get what you need to get the best sleep. Our bed was delivered the very next day and their delivery drivers make sure to bring each size of boxspring so you can decide which fits your bed best by testing them with your frame. I didn't sweat once, nor did I even need to turn the AC on, as I run very hot at night. I usually have a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, but had no problems with either. I'm not sure if it was because I couldn't feel my partner toss and turn so much, and/or if my partner slept more soundly than usual as well. Probably a bit of both and more so soundly. I usually have a lot of pain in my hips and lower back, and had none, which was the first thing I noticed before I passed out. The service was impeccable and we couldn't be happier about our new mattress that Austin meticulously helped us find.
