MAJOR EDIT: I am removing 2 stars due to the fact that their menu does NOT correctly reflect all ingredients in their food!!!! I ordered their seafood udon a few weeks ago, which their menu states includes "shrimp, salmon, scallop, and vegetables" - PEOPLE WITH CLAM/OYSTER/MOLLUSK ALLERGIES BEWARE. The soup included clams/oysters (not sure which) in addition to the other seafood, even though the menu does not list this specifically as an ingredient. It was my first time trying clams, and I ended up having an allergic reaction. I'm not blaming my allergic reaction on them, since I'd never tried that specific mollusk before and that's not their fault, BUT it's very dangerous for a restaurant to not mention a high allergen ingredient like that.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: First time trying this place tonight, could not be more pleased. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, food was incredibly fresh and well prepared, not to mention delicious! I actually did not order sushi; despite their name, they offer more than just nigiri. Their seafood udon is delightful, and you get a lot of food for the price.

The only thing I could say against this place is that their sign is very hard to see, especially at night. And many people will be confused by the extremely close placement next to a Chinese restaurant, which has a long company name that blends with their own sign.

I've included pictures...

Amazing food! Friendly owners! This restaurant is a great find! It's not big inside but the owners are extremely nice and hard-working! My family and I have been eating here for three years. The sushi is terrific and the hot dishes are also. The owner/operator does everything along with his wife. I have been there during an inspection and they have no problem setting the expectation, by telling you it's going to be a long wait. Occasionally another server helps but only on the busy evenings. That's amazing to me and I have to keep in mind that this restaurant is special/traditional. The wait for food can be longer depending on the crowd but the food is always worth the wait. If you are someone that cannot be flexible and chill maybe you are missing out on a lot more than you think. I have been eating sushi for over 25 years and in almost place that you would expect to find fresh fish. I have eaten sushi from high dollar to mid-range in price... AHA is among the best! If you can't find it on the menu it's probably too American. Maybe you could ask for it but I would recommend stretching your options. You cannot go...

Stopped by here on a whim to pick up sushi from Publix (pregnancy cravings) until my husband saw this restaurant. So happy we did. The place was empty on a Sunday evening but we decided to give it a try. The man and woman working there were so kind and helped us choose our order. We got takeout so we can eat while watching a show at home and we were so impressed with the food. They even kindly labeled which sushi was what. The foods presentation was beautiful and it tasted even better than it looked. We enjoyed the California roll, but LOVED the new years and crunchy chicken roll. We also got a lychee drink and it was buy one get one free, great deal! The place also had really high sanitation scores (98). Give this place a try, while the inside might not be the most up to date, I am so happy we found this and are happy to support a small business with kind workers. We...

Really great sushi! Super fresh and great prices. I love the interior too...cozy. If you can't wait or are the impatient type then move along though - this is a family run joint serving authentic Japanese cuisine cooked to order with attention to detail and great quality!! It's not one of those fast paced corporate restaurants that has everything pre-made and frozen in the back that we Americans take for granted, BUT it is authentic, fresh, hand-made, beautiful food made by a really sweet couple! So if you value fresh food, authenticity, supporting small businesses, and great food scores then come visit Aha Sushi and be prepared to have your taste buds soar!
