Located on Buford Dr, near Mall of Georgia, Coolray Field is such a nice field!!!
SunTrust Park is definitely bigger, and so much more stuff to do and places to go to but it feels nice to support smaller and local businesses like this.
Coolray Field is Home of the Gwinnett Stripers (formerly known as the Gwinnett Braves), a minor baseball league. The team plays in the South Division of the International League, and they are the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.
They offer very cheap options such as $1 hot dogs or $7 beers, and the atmosphere is great. The tickets are pretty cheap as well.
All about this place is great, bathrooms are super clean, seats are very comfy as well. There's also plenty of parking, but paid and only about $5.
I highly recommend this place, definitely great for families.

Read moreMy first visit to Coolray Field in Buford was a truly memorable experience—one that blended community, celebration, and America’s favorite pastime in the most meaningful way.
Our group from Mission Agape had the distinct honor of being invited to participate in a special event held in celebration of AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) Heritage Month this May. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just an ordinary ballgame—it was a heartfelt gathering of people from all walks of life, coming together to recognize and celebrate the rich cultural diversity that strengthens our communities.
Before the game, we were warmly welcomed at the Duck Club inside the stadium—a VIP lounge offering a great view and cozy atmosphere. There, we enjoyed a beautifully arranged catered dinner, and had the opportunity to meet and mingle with local leaders, government officials, and political dignitaries, along with their families. These meaningful conversations were a reminder of the power of shared mission and cultural appreciation.
After a stormy afternoon, the skies cleared just in time for the Gwinnett Stripers minor league baseball game. The fresh, post-rain air and vibrant sunset created the perfect backdrop for an evening at the ballpark. The energy in the stadium was lively but relaxed—a community of fans cheering, laughing, and simply enjoying the game together.
The Stripers put on a great show, and even for those of us less familiar with minor league baseball, the excitement was contagious. The whole experience—from the warm hospitality to the inspiring conversations, from the baseball to the clear, post-storm sky—made it an evening I’ll remember fondly.
Thank you to Coolray Field and the event organizers for making us feel so welcomed. It was a privilege to be part of this AAPI Heritage Month celebration, and I hope to return again soon—for another game, more great company, and the sense of unity that nights like...
Read moreI was traveling through Atlanta from arizona. Overall I liked the stadium and enjoyed the game. Below is my issues
Only 1 player signed autograph s and he signed about 100 of them. My son was so excited.
First off, know the net impedes the view of nearly every seat. This is annoying. Website makes it impossible to know and there was no information that I could find. I bought third baseline tickets 3 rows up on the far side of the dugout hoping to avoid the net. Not the case. If I knew I was getting the net no matter what I would have got closer and better seats.
Another complaint I have is the fan interaction. The good games I have been to keep the fans entertained. Give aways. Music. "Get loud". More talking. Etc. Anything to keep the crowd into it. Not here. I love baseball and enjoyed watching it, but at times was bored when the action was stale. At one point the home team kept scoring. You would assume the crowd would be upbeat. Nope. You could hear a pin drop.
Last issue was vending. Long slow lines. Popcorn was super stale. Tap room didn't have a easily viewable or understandable menu and staff was rude when I asked a question about...
