I am so disappointed as this was my second time visiting. The first time (to go order) I received good customer service. Ordered a grilled salmon biscuit. Thought I'd bring my husband to try this place the next time I go back. Went back this morning. I ordered the Spanish omelet and selected grits and toast as my sides and I purchased a vegetable beef soup. My husband ordered a Sausage/egg & cheese biscuit with a side of grits. The waitress (which I found out to be the Manager) took the order. Later, I witnessed her eating a biscuit or something as she walked toward the kitchen, then came out to the dinning area where she placed her foot in a chair to tie her shoelace. When she brought out the food, she forgot my grits and vegetable soup (as we had previously asked for to go boxes so it would be quicker to leave when we finished eating and paid. My husband opened his grits only to find a VERY long piece of hair at the top! I don't know how this was omitted! The manager was so unbothered, didn't apologize at all. Only said she would bring him out another one. Needless to say both of our appetite was demolished and my husband told her that he no longer wanted the grits. I asked that she take my soup off as well as she was the one that prepared it. She took offense/rolled her eyes and mumbled something. I really wanted the soup but I asked that someone else prepare it. While I waited for my soup, I stood at the back of the dinning area to watch (with the cashier's approval, who also was the one who prepared it for me this time). The so called Manager came over to me and said "you can't stand right here". She turned a pleasant morning of having breakfast to a devastation in my opinion. She was so banal. As I was leaving out, the cashier was being nice and was talking about how hot the weather was today and the Manager blurted out, "Go find a pool to jump in". Surely I ignored her. This is a family business so I don't know if the Owner would address this or not. Needless to say, I will not be returning. This is sad because I enjoyed my sandwich on my first visit. My total bill came out to be $29.49. Having a good demeanor goes a long way. Too bad the manager is unaware of that. She (Manager) could have changed this experience around in a positive way. The Server dropped the bomb when she lost 2 ppl in our parties order & we waited for over an hour & my brother & his wife still did not receive their breakfast platters, however they received their bill & they still didn't have their breakfast platters!! When my brother was speaking with the Mgr, she was very rude & disrespectful to my brother when he requested to a Server, (not our Server) that he wanted to pls speak to the Mgr, the Mgr quickly let him know that this is what happens when your late to the party!! He literally was 2-3 minutes late & ppl were still giving their orders when they arrived.. So there was absolutely no reason for the Server to have lost my brother & his wife's food.. The Mgr started talking down to our Server right in front of us about telling my brother that she would bump up his order after he already had waited for their order over an hour.. That was totally inappropriate for that Mgr to speak to her Server that way in front of our party.. To Mrs. Betty, as the Owner of this establishment, you need to speak with your Mgr about how she treats your Guests & your Servers.. We WILL NOT be back & you can thank the woman named Mary for her distasteful behaviour to my brother & to our Server.. Thanks for your time.....
Read moreI go here all the time for a quick breakfast , today I decided to do to go, so I called in. I ordered two biscuit sandwiches the lady otp told Me they’ll be ready in 5-10 mins I get there 15 mins later . I told them I had a call in told them the name it was placed under. The receipt that they gave me informed me that my sandwich was going to be made wrong. I expressed to the woman this was wrong she said she’ll be rt back then no one said anything to me for 15 mins . I finally got up and asked for any updates I was told I’m not the only one waiting. I sat down and thought about it . At this point I only want the sandwich that was made correctly. Didn’t appreciate the rudeness I got after all of my patients. I get up to inform staff I only want one I see my bag sitting on the table ready to go but no one told me it was ready. Then I told the lady I only want one sandwich . And she told me I have to pay for everything on my order because she cannot delete what I didn’t want. At this point I lost my appetite and I didn’t want anything so I walked out. I called at 10:39 left the restaurant 11:10.
