Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Georgia

DISRESPECTFUL, INSULTING, AND UNREAL! If I could rate this location ZERO, I would! The customer service was horrible and insulting! She had no respect, not a second of my visit did she give me respect or the customer before me! Hateful employees are unacceptable in Ice cream shops!I've come to this location before and I have asked if they sell dairy free ice cream and they said No, but didnt bother to mention what options there were. So I never bothered to come to brusters ever again, I'm a vegan. My friend was craving ice cream, and she said, lets go to Brusters, she felt bad because I'm a couldn't have any, but we went anyways, so we got there, I stayed in the car, but she happen to ask Katrina, the person attending the window, and she mention something about strawberry blah blah. I mean she spoke soo fast you could hardly understand, my friend came back to the car w her ice cream and told me "the lady said they do have a dairy free strawberry option". No need to say more, I got off and and young man opened the window and I said, "what the. Dairy free options?" And he said we don't have any... And I told him well the girl there told my friends you do. And when he asked the girl(Katrina) she. Said no, there was a Couple buying ice cream as well, anyways as I was turning around, I said, you guys need to communicate w each other... And the Katrina, made a nasty face, that even the customer beside me said, "they have the worst customer service" and she made us feel like she hated her job, which is not our fault..... Anyways, she comes to the window and I asked, why did you tell my friend you have dairy free ice cream?, and she said we do, at that moment I felt like she was being disrespectful in purpose and the customer that was there couldn't believe these young kid's attitude. Neither could I... I asked for a sample and she gave it to me and told her coworker to get my order and literally walked away and didn't say a word....... I couldn't even get a taste from your ice scream because the insult was just unreal.... Why do we customers have to put up with employees like her..... Busters is a large organization and doesn't need to hire employees that have no values..... I'm not asking for smile, I'm asking for more respect to the customer.... I'm a nice person, maybe write one review once every 2 years..... But for me to write this much takes a lot. I hope you guys rectify this situation for...

My wife picked up my step-daughter from a after school event where she had been for 4 hours. My wife decided to take my step-daughter to get the entire family milkshakes since we did a lot of heavy lifting that day. She had to order 7 milkshakes exactly and there were not that much different flavors. She thought it would 20 minutes tops. The server that was SUPPOSED to take her order was Hannah Jones. She didn't know that at the time. My wife's English is not the best so my step-daughter told the order for here. The second the server heard she was gonna was gonna have to make 7 milkshakes, she showed obvious annoyance. She was groaning and slumping her body. My step-daughter ignored and just laughed it off. Then the server had the authenticity to tell my step-daughter to write her own order down. My step-daughter got a little annoyed, but went on with it. When she handed her the order, my step-daughter went into my wife's car to sit. My wife stood there for 20 minutes before asking if her milkshakes were ready. She had been peeling a banana for the past 20 minutes and hadn't even started making the milkshakes. My wife just told her to cancel the order and left. She got milkshakes elsewhere and when she reached my sister in laws house, told us what happened. I took my step-daughter to tell me who the lady was so I could report her to management. I got there and my step-daughter pointed her out for me. I asked for her name and told her it was because of the incident that took place with my step-daughter and wife. She just laughed in my face after telling me her name. I asked her why she was laughing in my face and she slammed the window in my face. I just got in my car and drove off. My step-daughter was in the car and witnessed the entire thing. Always had the best service and have been coming here since it opened. Never once has anyone in my family been treated with...

I am giving two stars because I do think the girl who rang us up and made our cones meant well...however, their staff needs some training. I had a taste for some Brusters and tried this location for the first time. Usually, Brusters scoops are a reasonable size - my two scoops were so pitiful that my husband and daughter thought it was only one scoop. They told me to just got and get my other scoop and I had to explain that the pitiful top scoop WAS the other scoop.

The strawberry cheesecake flavor tasted like vanilla ice cream with artificial strawberry syrup mixed in. I actually asked for a scoop of butter pecan and strawberry cheesecake and she forgot. She did offer to fix it, but I was so annoyed with the tiny scoops that I was just over the whole thing. Hopefully this location improves, but I’m not trying...
